Technologies. One day I will have this many letters after my name. anyway, this guy is talking on 8th December about Ethical Hacking at BCS Edinburgh branch. Anyone else going to go? It sounds quite interesting.

Have had no motivation today, but am willing to let it slip since the wine came back for revenge and has b0rked my thought process. Tomorrow will be spent writing the slides for my next project talk, and doing more studying for Symbian stuff. Does anyone here have a Symbian OS equiped phone?

What will I need for my work area? Which tools do you people find invaluable when coding? I need to spend a little while and create a formal work area somewhere on one of my computers complete with cvs and all the tools I'll need.

That guy is deserving of a kick. FTP and HTTP can't exist side-by-side? They have to use different directories on the hard disk and have different IP numbers? What?! How do you think you get that site online? I bet that you ftp it into your public directory, where it is served by your web server. Argh!

Okay, I'm getting worked up about nothing because I've been the on-call tech boy for the past few hours. Every 15 minutes I have to stop what I'm doing and troubleshoot the network or the printer or blah.

Okay so Tonks got the message from last night.
Am arranging to give her book back and apologise for being a cock.

It's hard to do such things while also fixing a network (new router) and being hungover (old wine).

The rest of tonight is that Symbian research I'm sure I mentioned somewhere, and working on the wiki. Tonight it's graphical FTP clients and Mail Accounts. And drinking a lot of water. Woo!

Err... Apparently I can prattle and say / do stupid things in german just as well as in english. Yea, I'm going to hide for a few days. Oops.

The Blue Banana team are still learning about html so I have to get a reasonably easy web based editor up there soon. Any recommendations?

Today I will be doing research on Symbian OS -- methids of connecting to the internet and sending data (position deltas).

Later I will be having a chicken roast. Yuuuum.

I sent a text to Tonks last night. Kinda hope she's changed her number. Oops.

Have spent most of the night in company of Stuart and sister.

Going to go to one of the scandinavian countries with my sister for her birthday.

Got Declans ICQ UIN. Yay! I can talk to him again! :D He knows how to snowboard now. Yay! Except he's taunting me with his real snow. Bah!

smurfgasm is going to learn, and after that I'm going to try to convince him to come to Hillend with me.

Now I just need to find a skating buddy and I'm sorted.

nicnicnic was looking for skates on eBay a few night back; not sure if she bid on any, but that could be fun.

Alison, Ross, Brian and a few others are going to come to the Marauders night out. They might not all actually show up, but they've said they'll come so it makes it fair likely that some of them will.

Chris told me that I'm actually ahead of where he thought I'd be with the honours project. And provided me with the bibtex for the main source I'm using in my report.

In short, I'm feeling on top of the world - despite being back at parents house.
Seriously can't remember last time I felt so damn happy :D
