| Bio: | I'm a writer. I've tried to be other things; it hasn't worked. I write in all sorts of styles and genres, including poetry and erotica. Some of my work is intended for children or young adults, some is intended for adults, some is optimistic and lovely, some extremely disturbing and brutal. I'm a feminist and environmentalist; those are the two constants in my work. Little by little, more of my work is being published. Online now, my work may be seen at these places: Clean Sheets: "Venus" and "Shattered" both in the Exotica archives, May 2002 and May 2003 respectively. "A Low Indistinct Murmuring" was published in the Fiction section on April 28, 2004. NetAuthor's E2K: "The Shape of a Life in Books" poem in the archives, July 2002. The Cafe Irreal: "Bondage," story in the archives for issue 7. The Dream People: "Ritual," flash piece in the archives for April 2003. I also have a small gallery of erotica up at ibodi.com. The site's in development, but it's beautifully done. And there's a secret porn piece I have published, but I'm not telling where unless you ask really nicely, and even then maybe not. My poem, "Dear Laura" is up at the Poets Against the War site. It's also been published in the DC Poets Against the War anthology, available here. Two of my poems will be in the forthcoming In Our Own Words, Volume 5. Details when it's available. My story, "Sipping Wine in a Coffee Shop" is available in "SICK: An Anthology of Illness," a collection of dark fiction of which my story is the tamest. It's really a nice story; I reread it every so often and feel so happy to see it in print :) And it's available at Shocklines and Barnes and Noble online and Project Pulp. Soon it will be available through Amazon, too. My major project is a young adult novel. I don't know when it will be finished, though; hopefully this year.
