So here's the skinny:
I asked a friend for a copy of the Franz Ferdinand cd because I liked what I heard, and told her I would trade her a mix of similarly weird music. By weird, I mean anything with substance that isn't pop music. There is a variety of different artists on this and I am impressed with how well they all melded together. This is what I came up with:

Whats a song for needing money? Like you're broke, not that you just want it. Cause I can think of that one song about Money, thats been covered a dozen times, the one that says, "Money, thats what I want!" but that isn't exactly the right fit for what I'm looking for because it sounds more greedy, and I'm thinking of one thats more desperate.

So.. there is a semi-decent chance that next year my girlfriend and I will be attending different grad schools rather far away from each other. I will miss her more than my words can say. What I want is to find songs that will say it for me. I want to compile a mix CD centered on a "missing you" theme. I thought of a few songs that I know I want to include, but they (understandably) tend to be of the soft and mushy variety. I don't want to CD to make us both cry, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend some fun songs that deal with missing someone to liven it up a bit. Also, she really likes Norah Jones and Five for Fighting, and I'm not that familiar with their songs (beyond the overplayed ones): can anyone think of a song by NJ or FfF that might fit?

So with the sad news of besonic not coming back and having to be totally rebuilt, i have decided to use other sites to promote my music on a signed up with one this morning with nice results. I made a new song yesterday called "The Mind Control Remix"
Description: This is a collection of ideas turned into a unique listening experience that i dont think you will forget. Starts off like a Party gone terribly wrong and panic struck with an alien warp to it all and then goes off into a calm folky/synth bit mixed with a bit of downbeat with a hint of blackness below and from their it goes into pieces that i cant describe. Just download the damned thing and listen to it already!!!
