My weather guy rules!

	This is the summary of his forcast for today: Ugh! Make it stop! Before it does, this snowstorm will break records for the snowiest January "eva" in Boston. We even have a good chance of setting the record for the snowiest month EVER in Boston! The snow has become such a part of our lives, we've actually invented new words for it. Terms like "snow rage" and "snow farm" have trickled into our vocabulary. Parking spaces are harder to find than weapons of mass destruction. Fights are erupting, tires are being slashed. Judas Priest! Now we have people "Breaking the Law" over frozen water. What have we become? I'll leave that for Dr. Phil. But what will we be tomorrow? Still snowing. Call it backwash, call it ocean-effect, call it names, but even as it departs, the storm will tag us with snow until the almost midday. Finally, with the wind turning northwest in the afternoon, the last flakes will shake out of the clouds. Storm totals are posted on the "special map" above. Bitter air follows the snow for two days. We get a chance to see what it's like to live in Barrow, Alaska. Chins up. Chests out. Things will improve....in 7 days. Farmer Pete

	tolen from amedsped, take the first sentence of the first entry of every month for the last year and post it here: new year's wasn't a total bust. So the past few days were awesome. so things are well. In a special, one-time-only show at City Hall Plaza, the New Kids on the Block will reunite for a free performance on June 14th at 4 p.m. When you see someone you've idolized for years and years go to shit, it sucks. Monday June 7th at TT the Bear's in Cambridge, come support marriage equality while listening to some kick ass music. who's going to see janeane garofalo? 	Will one Senator stand with the Democrats in the House and refuse to certify the election results? Or will it be another repeat of 2000? Contact your Senator NOW and ask them to join Democrats in the House who will refuse to certify the vote. Tell them we can not certify what can not be verified. music: desperate housewives & cat power

yesterday taryn and i went shopping. we stopped off at the crate & barrel outlet. I came home with a $500 dining room table. and i only paid $50 for it. it looks hot. it's about time i had a dining room. now i have a whole other room to decorate.

i have to prepare for friday's party. i love hosting a holiday party.

	i miss my joe(y). i'm stuck in florida. with my family. and it is crap. i did sign up for this willingly, although now, i do realize my mistake. what was i thinking? yes, i understand it meant an extended holiday vacation away from work, which is always wonderful, but yeah. i'd have much more fun if my baby was here. he probably won't read this. as i have the computer with me. and his is busted. and doesn't connect to the wifi yet. but i miss him. i just wanna cuddle up on the couch and type on my computer while he watches television or does drafting in the other room. just knowing i can walk ten feet to give him a kiss and say hi makes me so happy. lack of the ability to do so makes me not happy. but hey! it's one day down, right? and that's good yes? very yes! we will be reunited next tuesday. at the middle east. when our dear friend rachael opens up for tegan and sara. (sidenote- if you are a t&s; fan, don't miss rachael on the tour, she's fuckin amazing) until then. i will try not to go insane while sharing a bedroom with a fourteen year old. i miss my dog too.

	There are 97,489 MORE votes THAN voters in Ohio: This amounts to 97,489 EXTRA votes beyond 100% in precincts of Cuyahoga County! This is just for ONE county! Some precincts reported 90% voter turnout (highly unlikey) and up to 1160.78% (what the fuck!) throughout this ONE COUNTY! These are official results tabulated from the Cuyahoga County elections website...you can view more info at http://therandirhodesshow.com I wouldn't call this whole thing over yet (but it probably is)

	So i accept the fact that the election was yet again another fraud. And that this time there's no way to do a recount. So we're stuck. And we're pissed. We just all need to stay pissed. And focus that energy on building something stronger than this crap administration. a revolution? perhaps. a civil war? could happen. I think all the blue states should now become their own independent nation. I understand if you don't want to fight anymore. You feel defeated. And rightly so. But i'm not giving up. And i'm not moving to Canada. Because as much as everything is fucked up, I'm not allowing MY country to be taken away from me and 55 million other people who feel like i do.

	so...since 1936, the Washington Redskins have accurately predicted the winner of the presidential election in an election year depending on if they win or lose their last home game before the election, which was played this afternoon. If they win, the party in office remains. If they lose, the challenging party takes over. Well, the Redskins lost today. And so will Bush. woohoo!

	um....does anyone want my cat Styles? i love him very much, but he gets no attention from anyone in this apartment, and i just feel bad that we always kick him out of the room and never pet him. i just don't think we have the ability to love the cat as much as we used to now that the dog has taken over the household. i only want to give him to someone i know, or someone who is close with someone i know. he's really a sweet cat. but i don't think it's fair to him living here and being ignored all the time. let me know.

	for the six times i've seen rilo kiley, i always become more amazed by jenny lewis' talents each time i see her. She's an incredible person with a refreshing ability to sing, write and create music. it's sad i'll never hang with them in a small venue again, but i guess it was bound to happen someday. they are on conan o'brien tonite. y'all better tune in. that's all.

	So it's me and joe(y)'s 2-year anniversary this week. actually, it already passed. and we went out for a fuckin hot dinner at Cucci Cucci. Joe(y) got me tickets to see Kasey Chambers in November...and I am cleaning our room and doing all the laundry. I dunno who got the better gift... This weekend i have to go deep sea fishing for a bachelor party. it could be fun...i have to get up and drive an hour at 6am. after going out friday nite to see meghan at TTs. I'll be getting about 4 hours of sleep. Then, on tuesday. Rilo Kiley. mmmmmmmmmmmm. I have three weddings to attend in October. One which I am in. way too busy for me. meh. i have to be at work in an hour.

	I'm thinking of trading the MINI in for a green Honda Element. I really want an SUV all of a sudden. And i'm tired of the MINI because there's really no room to store stuff, i can't go on a road trip with it, and also because everyone in boston seems to now have one. and so i'm over it. anyway. i will go test drive one tomorrow. and if i don't like it, i'm going to get a used volvo s40 turbo.
