Nice Weekend
G and I had a nice weekend together. Saturday, we went out to Costco in Clifton, among other errands, and picked up TurboTax. We spent most of the afternoon doing our taxes. We both still need to work on them more, but the grunt work is done at this point. G had a valid complaint: In recent years we've been switching back and forth between TurboTax and TaxCut depending on which has a better price. This makes the entry of basic data a pain. Next year, TurboTax, again.

Sunday, we went to the city to get our hairs cut and to have lunch. We decided to take a walk in Central Park since it was the first fairly nice day in a long time. The park was nice, but we were not the only ones with the idea.

Sunday evening, we didn't drink. A milestone.

New User Pic
I've created a new user pic. It represents (and reminds me about) my renewed focus on fitness. I took this pic yesterday with my Treo while on the Precor elliptical thingy at the gym.

Capricorn
You're the very soul of frugality, responsibility and thrift. But at the moment, you've got a bit of an itch. You've got shopping fever -- in fact, you've got it bad, and that ain't good. You want to bring along every single piece of plastic you have to the mall and run rampant. Well, why not? Thanks to your strict budget, you can afford a bit of a splurge for either you or your loved ones -- or possibly both

Out with work friends - Tinga Tinga
Last night, G and I went out with a bunch that I work with. It was one of the girls birthday, so we went to the funky place called Tinga Tinga.

City Search info

Tinga Tinga is a karaoke place that has private rooms for parties. Its BYOB, so you buy whatever you want to drink and bring it in. The place is located on the 6th floor of what appears to be an apartment building. Very strange.

We had a great time. I made a fool of myself singing Du Hast and Dancing Queen. I NEVER do karaoke, but for some reason, this place brings it out in you. Its probably the small living room-like nature of the rooms. We had 5 co-workers visiting from India, and I can't imagine what they were thinking. Although they did get into it and were picking songs and singing along. It was a hoot!

India
I have another opportunity to visit our office in India. I'm scheduled to go with my old boss (I travelled with her to India last June and we had a great time). The problem at this point is that she wants to go during the first week of April. G and I are scheduled to go to Phoenix on April 8 for a b-day celebration weekend for my ex. He and his BF are flying there from SC and our friends Liz and Lyle will be there as well.

I need to talk my old boss into going to India during the last week of March, because I'll go to Phx for Jeff's b-day over going to India, and I really WANT to go to India.

Of course, when I make my move to Phx intentions known, all bets could be off for thre India thing anyway.

Never...
My sister-in-law likes to send funny e-mail, stories, trueisms,
whatever, to a list of her friends. I happen to be on the list.
Sometimes I read them, sometimes I just delete them, it depends on my
mood.

I was reading the latest just now, and its a list she named as "Zen
Sarcasm". This is an excerpt, it made me laugh.

NJ and Cam Phones
Has the NJ legislature gone too far?

They are trying to pass a bill that would require cell phones with cameras to flash or beep before a picture is taken so that the subject is aware.

What's next? Do people's ears need to beep when you get within hearing distance. Oh my, someone may hear a conversation. I know, let's put blinders on everyone so that noone can see each other, after all, if I can see a person, that must be a violation of their privacy.
