Just out of curiosity, what does being a Christian have to do with extended business trading hours? That ad on TV is so incredibly stupid. "Im a Christian, and I vote NO to extended trading hours!"... Maybe God sent her an SMS asking her to put the ad on TV. Current Mood: confusedCurrent Music: Roxette. How embarassment. | Friday, January 21st, 2005 | 6:56 pm |
WHEE! Even though they're not supposed to, they've released photos of the guys who hit the kittens... the pictures are clear and easy to see, so I reckon pretty soon a few nasty young men are gonna be busted!! Oh, and they were in Sydney, not Perth, but still... grrr! The kitty is doing well and they named it after one of the police ladies. Strangely, if this was a human, they wouldn't have hardly even given it a second though and put it on the news. OOOH! Update! One guy turned himself in! Thats a good start. Current Mood: hopefulCurrent Music: Becker... Yuck! Turn it off!! | 5:58 am |
Yuk. Last night on the news, they were talking about an assault at a perth train station. They said it was graphical etc but I watched it anyways and I was totally amazed at how low some people can go. They showed security footage of 3 guys aged about 14 at a train station, their faces were blurred to protect their identities... and they were beating up a tiny kitten. :( One guy stamped on the cat, another one threw rocks at its head from about 2 feet away, and one guy ran over it with his frikkin' bike! Then as it limped away, they kicked it off the platform onto the train tracks. I cant believe police cant show their faces... it's so disgusting. I hope they find them, but without being able to show their faces there aren't very high chances. The kitten is alive still as police were called and saved it from the tracked, its broken in a few places but it was playing with toys and stuff anyway. Still, those guys are so disgusting... a tiny little kitten. :( Current Mood: enragedCurrent Music: Dannii - You Wont Forget About Me | Saturday, January 8th, 2005 | 11:26 am |

Oh my god. OHHHH my god. Im going to hell in a handbasket. The shame of it all. Muahahaha. *Swoon* I loved it. Tonight was absolutely the best new years ever. I remember it all, suprisingly... that was a LOT of booze to absorb in such a short amount of time. Im pleased with myself. *LOL* Balmik thanks for coming. *SMOOCH* You rock my socks! Waiting for Tonight!! *dance* Oh my lordie! Theres not long to go and its a new year!!! Im updating today because Im supposed to write in here when exciting stuff happens so that other people actually know Im alive, and know whats going on. Last night I called Stephen and broke it off. He understood and was a bit upset, but Im sure he will be absolutely fine. I dont really wanna go into the list of reasons why did it, it's not really fair to him to blab about him on my journal, but yeah, its definitely for the best. For me, anyway, and thats all that matters. :P YAY!! Tonight is going to be FUN!! Look out Brenton, I have Absinthe and Im not afraid to use it. Hopelessly Addicted... Helplessly Attracted... Hi hi... I thought I should update. Just cos. Christmas Day was fun, I had the Orphan's Christmas at Jason's house with Drew and Belinda. It was nice, different and obviously very unusual! We then wallowed in our own laziness and went for a long scenic drive in Drew's sparkly new car. When I say sparkly, I mean it too - I squealed when I saw it because the paint is glittery!!! Then we went to Jo's house, which is amusing to say the very least! Nova and Jo's fairy floss machine was the centre of attention for much of the evening - that was, until Brenton managed to empty his poor sick tummy all over a door. I take some responsibility, as I was pouring him shooters... but I didn't like, you know, force him to drink... :P I can't believe this huge tsunami has managed to ruin so many people's lives in so many countries. 70,000 is such an incredibly enormous amount of people - but it's continuing to rise. It's a really tragic thing to happen, especially at this time of year... it's good to see people making it back home, and hopefully the 5000 Aussies still missing are all safe and sound. New Years Eve is just around the corner and I absolutely cannot wait. I think it will be a spectacular night... I haven't planned for any resolutions this year. I've already made up my mind what I want to do, and started working towards it. 2005 is going to be a huge year, and there are gonna be some major changes... I'm not looking forward to a couple of them, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Furthermore, I would like to add that my new housemate Jakie is, indeed, a geek. She denies it, but she knows that deep down, it's ohhhh so very true. Opened my eyes today, and I knew there's something different. Saw you in a brand new way, like the clouds have somehow lifted. And if yesterday I heard myself saying these words... I'd swear it was a lie...And I have a new icon. The end, by Tim - Grade 5. It's over. *Sigh* After such a long time, it was really hard to come to terms with, but I have an announcement to make. It's over. We are no longer together. After much deliberation I decided to break it off... to seperate. I was a little sad at first, and a bit worried... but now I think I'm fine with it. It's only been an hour but already it feels better. That's right, I took out my nipple ring. Farewell little buddy. ROAR!!!! @ ClubWest! August 7th. 7pm-1am. Be there! As Im sure most of you know by now, ClubWest happens every 3 months. THIS show, we are celebrating 15 fabulously camp years of ClubWest with ROAR!!!It's basically a night of insanely hilarious drag shows with intermissions between 3 big shows. There are people from all walks of life there, teaming up for one main cause - Charity! Every cent of profit goes to the charity we choose each show, and this time we decided it should go to little kiddies in Uganda who's town is under attack daily... they are getting education, food, water and safety because people like you (you know who you are!) are game enough to buy a ticket and come along for a fantastic night. This show's special guest is Cindy Pastel!! She's fantastically camp, and if you have seen Priscilla's extras on the DVD Im sure you would have seen her. As well as Cindy, there are a bevvy of weird and wonderful people - including myself, a couple of cute little backup boys and some seriously camp backup girls doing several numbers. Do you really need another excuse to get drunk and sing to stupid camp songs? I didnt think so. A lot of you guys already come, so please invite as many people as you can... fill up entire tables, invite family, friends, anyone you can. It all goes to a worthy cause. I have tickets available here for $10 so give me a call or leave a comment. You can also stop by Arcane bookstore in Northbridge and grab them there. UGH. Stupid Reagan funeral!! I want my Ricki Lake! BUT NO!!! Some old person completely unrelated to our country has gone and carked it... and they put it on while Ricki should be. Shocking. He was a dickhead anyway!! SUuuuuuuUuuure he did some good stuff, but he did plenty of crappy things too, as Shane pointed out in his Journal. Timothy Is Disruptive In Class... This afternoon I found myself accidentally entertaining an entire year 6 class with a large orangutan hand puppet, and one of a camel. I was sitting there feeding them pencils and paper because my 1-2pm class isnt on, and I turn around the entire room is staring at my puppets and grinning. I promtly placed them in their boxes... Sadly, I wanted to continue playing, but Im pretty sure they are supposed to be studying. Lucky I didnt get the puppets to make sweet love to eachother, Im pretty sure Id have been banned from the library forever. :P Current Mood: guiltyCurrent Music: Lil'kids chattering and getting back to work | Monday, May 17th, 2004 | 11:34 am |
Saturday Night Fever! Just in case someone didn't already know, this Saturday night is Clubwest night!! This Clubwest is going to be one of the biggest ever, with 3 fantabulously camp shows (you'll laugh, I guarantee it) as well as booze and food, you cant go wrong. If you have never gone before, I highly recommend it. There are tables etc with chairs, kinda like cabaret... and between shows they put on the gayest music in the world. Im performing a couple of numbers, and the night is a tribute to Ernie, one of the founders of clubwest. Unfortauntely Ernie was rather sick and has passed away, so we are going to celebrate Ernie's life with Terry (mother!) his husband of 32 years, who is also performing a few teary numbers. Tickets are $10, and doors open at 7pm. You can purchase tickets from Arcane, Pretty Woman and Coode St Cafe - if you need to, I have a stack here as well, so you can buy them here if you want to. Heaps of people I know are coming... and sexy little Adam and Brenton are going to be spiffy and spectacular in their near nakedness... thats worth $10 alone! Hopefully you all come along and admire the hard work that this charity puts in to help out various charities! This show's money is going to the Living Centre which provides support to people with HIV/AIDS and also the people around them... so it's definitely a worthy cause!
