WHO WE ARE
Star Clipper was originally founded in University City, Missouri in 1987 as a gaming and science-fiction bookseller. We have since grown to become the region's premier independent retailer of graphic novels, import & domestic comics, zines, manga, pop culture collectibles & merchandise. As a St. Louis landmark emphasizing high-quality publications and excellent customer service, we carry products by every major publisher in the industry, including DC, Marvel, Fantagraphics, Dark Horse, Last Gasp, Drawn & Quarterly, Viz, and Tokyopop, as well as offerings from select other publishers like Le Dernier Cri and Ponent Mon. Star Clipper provides a free subscription service for hundreds of product lines. We also gladly fill special orders for comics, graphic novels, posters, DVD's, and more! NEW LOCATION
Star Clipper has moved back to where it all began, the University City Loop! We opened in our new space at 6392 Delmar (just east of Blueberry Hill) on July 14, 2004. Our deepest, most heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped us move, as well as all the patrons who supported us at our former location at 379 North Big Bend.

Free parking can be found in the lots behind Fitz's and the block behind Cicero's/Melting Pot/Blockbuster. Also, free parking on Westgate slightly north of Delmar is available. Metered parking is available on Delmar, Westgate, and in the lot adjacent to the Tivoli Theatre. There is a parking garage across from the Tivoli as well.
