About YouThink.com

The world is obsessed with polls. Politicians won't make a move without checking one. Every night on the news, poll results of one kind or another are a top story. Movie studios poll focus groups to tell them how to edit their films.

This site takes polls to the extreme. It's designed to be fast-paced and fun at the same time that it's informative and spurs conversation. It makes you think.

YouThink.com is to polls what the "Am I Hot" sites are to pictures.

Unlike other poll sites, YouThink.com gives demographic results. The results for each of our questions are broken down by sex, age, race and geography. Often the most interesting thing about a question is not the overall results, but how (for example) men and women responded differently.

If you have a question you want to have answered, Add It to the site. If it's good, it will be approved and you'll get feedback from our users.

Businesses can use YouThink.com for market research. If you are a business client, please contact us to set up an account that allows your question to get top-priority for instant results.

Here's how it works. Users create profiles by entering their demographic information and choosing an ID and password. They answer questions, one after another, and see the results of each. They can add questions they're interested in to their Watch List so they can see how the results turn out over time. They can also email a question to a friend. By clicking on the My Qs button, a user can see the current results to all the questions he/she has added.

YouThink.com was created by a freelance web designer/programmer from Los Angeles, California. His other claim to fame is founding TriviaSpot.com (once TriviaMachine.com).
