I feel like I can't get the dirt off me, and then I start to sweat a bit from the exertion of lifting heaving boxes, and that doesn't help, because then I feel dirt mixing with sweat. | 11:58 am | E2299 - Pack, pack, pack... pack, pack, pack... pack yo' room... ... so today will mostly be spent packing while taking breaks to watch the commercials during the Super Bowl. I hope to move either Thursday or this weekend... hopefully this won't go horribly wrong. I also need to find out the password for my Blackboard account for school which is going to be annoying. I can't find the bookstore either for two of my books which Amazon sadly doesn't have. Well, I know where the CAMPUS bookstore is, but these two books have to be picked up at "Shakespeare's" which I've yet to find. I'm also sick, and I keep coughing. This could be due to basically being out from 8AM to about 10PM every day this past week going to school, work, looking for a place to live, wandering the city, and still having to go to work yesterday for six hours. | 12:00 pm | E2296 - Pondering Well, I'm stuck at work here on a Saturday for six hours to make up time spent looking for apartments this past week in the city... so I guess that leaves me here bored and to ponder. I just realized of my last twenty posts about half in some way had to do with Amazon. That's scary. But yeah, I treat this more as just a place to post random things in, nothing serious... and I guess the reason why that is, is because I'm paranoid about writing actual personal things and stalkers or whatnot. Writing letters though, like the ones I did to Dean and Jamie were more like what I guess I would post daily if I wasn't so paranoid. But yeah, I'm currently fairly bored at work. I'm ripping audio CDs of German language tutorials to convert to streaming audio for the web. I should hopefully be moving next week. | 9:19 am | E2290 - Two Florida boys charged with a felony for violent stick figure drawings AMERICA!!! FUCK YEAH!!! -- (01-25) 20:18 PST OCALA, Fla. (AP) --Two boys were arrested for making pencil-and-crayon stick figure drawings depicting a 10-year-old classmate being stabbed and hung, police said. The children, charged with a felony, were taken from school in handcuffs. The 9- and 10-year-old boys were arrested Monday and charged with making a written threat to kill or harm another person. They were also suspended from school. One drawing showed the two boys standing on either side of the other boy and "holding knives pointed through" his body, according to a police report. The figures were identified by written names or initials. Another drawing showed a stick figure hanging, tears falling from his eyes, with two other stick figures standing below him. Other pieces of scrap paper listed misspelled profanities and the initials of the boy who was allegedly threatened. The boys' parents said they thought the children should be punished by the school and families, not the legal system. Current Mood: hungry |
