This Web Site is a mess. Everything's all over the place, like fourteen drunks came over and decided to "redecorate."

One day soon, I'll get to work on, er, everything. Meanwhile, if you're looking for the official Ken Layne & the Corvids' site, it's right over here.

Boot Liquor Radio, a Web radio station I pretty much fell in love with on first listen, was kind enough to add a couple of songs off my last record, "Fought Down." I have rarely been in such fine musical company: Townes Van Zandt, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, Dave Alvin, Billy Joe Shaver, Johnny Cash, Los Lobos, the Beat Farmers, Todd Snider, Bobby Bare (Sr. & Jr.), etc. So huzzah for that. (I don't see or hear any advertising on Boot Liquor, so it you like it, maybe PayPal 'em a few bucks. If you enjoy such music, few things will be more worth than that PayPal donation.)

Also .... My buddy in the Corvids and longtime co-conspirator Matt Welch found a real nice thing about our "Fought Down" record, by journalist Radley Balko, a full year after its ultra-secret release.

All right. And now for the Usual Note:

Highways West

Note: I am over here at Highways West, a travel site about the Western USA.
