[14 Feb 2005|09:54pm] [ mood | exhausted ] [ music | classical ] i am so over this whole getting a higher education deal. im so tired i can hardly function. i've been writing a paper for 3 days now. i'm fially done but have to go back and edit an all that crap. i hate rereading stuff i've written. that's why my journal enterie are usually full of mistakes. thank god it's due tomorrow and i can stop stressing over it. sadly i also have a test tomorrow that i haven't studied for and i'm very nervous about it. i dont think i've learned anything in this class and he says that the test is prety much open to m.c., short answers, short essays, matching, definitions, etc. and covering any material he's posted online even if we never went over it, text book readings, our other book for the class, or articles. THANKS ALOT BUDDY THAT HELPS A WHOLE DAMN LOT ON NARROWING IT DOWN!!! i think i've over done it with the 18 hrs plus work this semester :( on the plus side i had a nice v-day party with the kids at work today. i got tons of cartoon valetine's like back in the old days plus lots of chocolate, and hugs :) Comments: 2 smiles - show me your smile.

[22 Jan 2005|08:12pm] [ mood | satisfied ] okay so i've been meaning to make an update about newman but i just hadn't gotten around to it yet. newman is the dog my brother got for christmas. i was suppose to get one too but my mom's waiting until i graduate so i have more time to pay attention to it and wont have roommates to worry about. he's the best dog ever. he's half chihuahua and half rat terrior but looks just like a jack russel terrior. he's 13 weeks old but he's pretty much at his full size now. he's hyper and fun and lovable! his jumping in my lap right now :) okay now on to the pictures.. awwww, i know you want him but you cant have him :p ( more ) Comments: 10 smiles - show me your smile.

HELP! [14 Jan 2005|10:58am] i woke up this morning to my computer acting like it was busy doing something but i dont know why it was acting like that....so i turned the screen on to see what it was doing but then nothing showed up on the screen. so then i tried to turn my computer off but it wouldn't turn off...so i unplugged it and turned it back on but the same problem persistED. i dont know what else to do. thanksgiving! [26 Nov 2004|09:29am] [ mood | tired ] [ music | tv ] well actually i'm going to back up a few days... mon: i went to school as usual except when i got to class it was flooded and therefor canceled! i could have gone home since my next class was 3 hours away but i figured i'd get some breakfast and study instead. so i went and got some breakfast and ran into paul. so we spent the whole morning chilling in the union eatting, watching tv, and studying for my math test. then we tried to go to the ransom museum on campus but it ended up being closed but we did get to see the first photograph ever taken (it was displayed just outside the gallery), it's horrible quality! then i went to my math test, which i'm pretty positive i aced it. tues: didn't do much. slept in, cleaned, went to my night class, went and watched eyra and the guys win the IM bball tournament. and then went back to the guys' place for some yummy pumkin pie ricky made. it had this sour cream topping...it was mmm mmm good! wed: woke up, packed, eyra jumped my car (which was an ordeal but that story involves visuals), drove home w/o stopping anywhere so my car wouldn't die on me. i made it to my stepdad's and left my car there. mom picked me up. we had our thanksgiving that night so me and my brother went grocery shopping at the nice new heb woodlands market. came home, i made a chocolate apple pie (yum), garlic basil mashed potatoes, and the stuffing. my mom cooked the turducken (which is turkey, duck, and chicken with stuffing between the layers...i dont recommend it!), green bean cassarole, squash and gravy. over all, very yummy! afterwards we all played catch phrase...but we're all very competitive (by we all i actually mean: me, mike, and mom)and it turned into a lot of yelling! thur: woke up early and watched part of the parade on tv. then we left to go downtown to serve food but we got down there and couldn't find parking so we ended up finding a starbucks, got some coffee, read the paper, and went home. we really did try to be helpful. then me and mike went to our dads for thanksgiving dinner. mmm it was even better than the night's before, there was a real turkey (fresh actually...my dad killed it the night before). then the kids took the annual christmas picture...which i was very annoyed that they all wanted to do one of the pictures in front of the tractor. i drew the line there. ohhh and we watched elf! so funny! and then we me, mike and natty all went to mike's girlfriends' and played mississippi mud (card game) with her family and me and natty kicked their asses! watched the apprentice...me and my mom got into a heated discussion over ivana (spelling?) and jen. i like ivana and mom really dislikes her and i really dislike jen and mom really likes her. anyways...natty was going to stay the night with kristen (mike's gf) but she got sick and came home with me. today: i'm missing the big game....and i couldn't even sell my ticket :( not even to any of my aggie friends. next time i'll try ebay. the good news is my mom is letting me have her ticket for the texans vs. the titans game on sunday which are front row seats! alright it's time to go decorate for xmas :) p.s. my birthday is in 15 days Comments: 7 smiles - show me your smile.

[21 Nov 2004|06:04pm] [ mood | lazy ] [ music | saves the day "always ten feet tall" ] i had a pretty crappy week. my car has broken down again, even though i just had a bunch of work done on it a month ago. plus the weather has been crappy. and i just dont like austin these days. well i think i used the word hate earlier in the week...but i've calmed down a bit. the good news is that i had a great weekend! lynnie sort of moved in for the weekend. she came down friday night and we went to pappasito's!!!! mmmmm good! haven't been there in a while. plus she had a $30 gift card that paid for most of it. and we had delicious fried ice cream that neither of us had ever tried before. i'm sure it would have been even better if i hadn't had been so full. then we went downtown for sean's birthday with the gang. it was a lot of fun and i even got lynnie to dance before the night was over :) then lynnie stayed the night and the next day we were bums! lynnie went back to her house to get clean clothes with pauly so we could go see the reputation. we went and had some mexican food on sixth street first because the bands were running behind. it was weird actually eatting on sixth street. then we got to the club right in time to see the reputation. there was hardly anyone there but they were awesome anyway. afterwards i offered elizabeth and the band to stay at my place since they needed a place to crash for the night and she called and got directions and everything but at the last minute they decided to stay with the promoter b/c they had a land line so elizabeth could use her lap top. we were a little disappointed but then again we was shocked they were even planning to take my offer. maybe next time :) and that brings us to today. again me and lynnie have been bums. we have watched every show on the foodnetwork at least once. went to subway. i made some gross shortbeard cookies. and now lynnie went home and i'm bored. i could probably study but that's not fun. now i'm just waiting for wed. to come around and i'll get my car jumped and drive home for thanksgiving! i told mommy i'll make everything but the turkey this year. i'm really excited! then there's the big game on friday! i'll be driving back to austin for that and then back home again afterwards. hopefully my car will be fixed by then. alright that's all i need to go be productive. if you're going to be back home for the holidays you better give me a call. ciao! happy halloween? [31 Oct 2004|02:25pm] [ mood | annoyed ] [ music | rerererk;ejfka;dsfksajdfere (stuipd alarm) ] i'm avoiding studying! i skipped alot of class last week. i'm burnt out!!!! we need a fall break. anyways on friday i was planning to go to class until i got pulled over and was given a ticket for "running" a stop sign. i just didn't come to a complete stop. ugh! so i got in a bad mood and went back home. on friday afternoon me and ey went to look for halloween costumes. She decided to be tina turner and i was going to be something that requires a wig. then we meet her parents for dinner (they were in for parent's weekend). her parents are the cutest ppl ever! saturday i did a little studying then we went to finish getting stuff for our costumes. i ended up being a flapper. we went to a couple parties with some friends last night but for the most part i was tried and wanted to go home to sleep (to take advantage of the extra hour). i think halloween was better when you trick or treated. and i think they get better when you're older and can have a little bit more mature parties. but i'm not really into the inbetween college stage with keggers and girls that just dress as sluts (w/o underwear on...i wanted to vomit) i guess i should go to library if i want to get any studying done. there's some stupid car in the parking lot that's alarm goes off ever 20 minutes (speaking of it's going off right now!!!!!!!) i want throw a baseball at it. [16 Oct 2004|12:04pm] [ mood | sick ] [ music | food network ] tiffany does not feel good! i didn't go to bed til after 4am and then i had to wake up at 8:30am to drop eyra off at work but my car died so we had to take her jeep and it's standard. so i had to relearn how to drive a standard all by myself while i was half a sleep this morning. i actually didn't do too bad. i didn't stall but i had some trouble getting the key out of the ignition (which has nothing to do with driving a standard). anyways.... i think i want to be a pastry chef. busta! [14 Oct 2004|11:20pm] [ mood | tired ] tonight i went to see busta rhymes with eyra, dre, jordan, and jaime. it was my first hip-hop concert and it was so fun! (especially for $10 general admission) we got really close to the front of the stage and were breaking it down! ooo and the opening act had some break dancers and this one dancer was really hot! omg and can we talk about the weather today! it was so awesome!!! it was "open the windows and bake some cookies" weather. too bad all i had to make was eggs. and too bad it's back to the 80's tomorrow this weeekend should be fun then next weekend i'm going home. my grandpa was recently diagnosed with cancer and he isn't doing well at all...so if you could pray for him i'd appreciate (and he would too). so i'm not sure if i'm going to throw a halloween party anymore because well it costs alot of money to throw a party apparently and we'd have to move it to jaime's apt. because one of jijy's family is coming in. ugh! what to do? what to do? so if you want to donate some $ to the halloween party fund then go right ahead. but actually i rather you donate to the susan g. komen breast cancert fund. or even better, sign up to race for the cure in austin for nov. 7th. tell me truly [18 Sep 2004|11:05am] [ mood | lazy ] [ music | livingroom praise sessions "better is a one day" ] warning: this is going to be very random well my mom called and we are offically going skiing for christmas! i'm so excited! i cant remember the last time we went...probably 9th grade. hopefully i'll be able to pick it up like riding a bike. we're going with my brother, his girlfriend, and her mom and grandma. i really like his girlfriend so it should be fun! plus we're staying in a ski-in/ski-out lodge. hell yeah! the other night i had a dream where my mom said that my brother was getting married the next day and i started bawling in my dream. i guess i was upset b/c he's too young and i'm not ready to give him up. anways i woke up and i had tears actually running down my face. that was freaky. i think the last time that happened i was a kiddo. i told my brother about it and it made him laugh (infact he laughed just like my dad and it kind of scared me). he assures me he wont be getting married anytime soon. oooo and last night i had a dream that nancilea did make it to the olympics and i went to go watch her at the finals and her coach kenny started making he do all this stuff for her and i sort of turned into her assistant except i had no idea what to do and i felt like a dumb ass! i love how i can always remember my dreams....even though SOME people dont apprecaite it when i share my dreams :) hmm i know there was more i was going to write about... oh we got OU tickets!!! the cool part is i didn't even try! also since the A&M; game is here this year i have tickets to that too! should make for two exciting football games! i wish i had time to read for fun i'm in the middle of 6 books that i have to wait until christmas break to even crack open again. maybe i should learn to stay out of book stores until i finish the books i'm reading. i'm going to see wimbeldon with joanna (one of my old young life girls) today. it looks really cute :) oh have i mentioned i've been bit by the travel bug in the worse way. i want to just pack up my life into a small suitcase and travel the world for a few years. everyone should have that oppurtunity. i hate jobs/money!!!! but i think i'm figuring out a way to do it anyway. i'm off. everything's changed [12 Sep 2004|09:24pm] [ mood | sick ] [ music | serendipity ] well school still sucks! i hate this semester! but i graduate in less than a year so i'm focusing on what i'm going to do then, so far i've come up with a few ideas... 1. travel 2. teach over seas 3. flight attendant 4. dance on a cruise ship 5. work for a dance company 6. graduate school? but not right away so those are some ideas i'm throwing around. i know that it will be here before i know it. yesterday i went back home for my sister's birthday. me and my brother went to see garden state after much convincing from me. i loved it! i really liked seeing another side of zack braff and even natalie portman. i just really like the moments that were captured between the two. tonight me and jaime went to a new church. it was austin stone which are the guys from my church back home that came to austin to start a church. i really like it. better than the church we usually go to. so i think we're going to start going there instead. and we saw john yarbrough and matt golley there. we didn't get a chance to say hi but it's nice having that familarity there. alright i'm avoiding homework so i better go get on that. night!
