I've noticed that the pain hasn't changed much at all in the past week or
so, but starting yesterday and going into today, the pain has been sharper
and more annoying, not really as much as when I first hurt myself but
definitely more than the past several weeks. The pain meds have been a
regular thing and I am usually taking 2 or 3 pills in a day just to make my
work day managable. I think I should call the doctor and set up a second
follow up appointment. I'm going to need more pain meds soon.

There is a room open at the house on beacon hill. It's the room I moved out
of when I moved across the hallway. We are currently looking for that 4th
roommate to complete the house. The room is open right now and if someone
can move in before Feb is over, that would be the best.

It's that time again.
Another party at my house on beacon hill is just around the corner!
Saturday 12th starting after 9pm.
Theme is Valentine's Day with emphasis on dressing to get laid.
Secondary theme is "watch Patrick get more injuried!"
You know you want to be there.

I also saw this year's Spike and Mike's sick and twisted festival today. Although this year felt a little bit tame, it was still pretty good. I enjoyed it more than two years ago, which was the last time I saw it. I would say that the first half of the show made the admission completely worth it. The second half of the show was a bit weaker, but it didn't detract it too much.

I'm looking forward to the Animation Show, which comes up at the end of February.

It seems to be the movie that everyone was talking about. All the critics are loving it. I was dying to see what all the fuss was about. What I found once I saw Million Dollar Baby was a slightly interesting boxing story that fizzles out in the end with a lot of reality and a couple boring subplots. I am shocked that this movie was voted best picture.

I've only seen two of the five best picture nominies for the oscars this year. Million Dollar Baby and, a couple years ago, Ray. I don't seem to have a very favorable opinion of either of them. The acting was good in both, but good acting is a dime a dozen and I think there was just too much lacking from both films to make them good. I want to watch Finding Neverland next, because that one seems to be getting positive opinions from some friends.

Why wasn't Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind nominated for best picture? I think that one was my favorite this year. It's definitely the one I remember most fondly.

I have decided to make my life more interesting by creating a fictional
account of how I broke my tailbone. I was talking to a customer at work and
she suggested that I tell people that I broke it while skiing or
snowboarding. I think that is a pretty good idea because then, at least,
I'm not some dumb drunk who fell down the stairs.

In general, I think I'm too truthful. I should really lie about things more
often.
Isn't that really what being confident about yourself is, anyways? Being
able to lie convincingly?

So, the hospital visit is finished now. I went there, waited about 3 hours in the waiting room and finally got to see a doctor. I strip, the doctor comes in and does a quick check over and gives me some pain killers. I'm feeling better already.

I called in sick to work today so I could go to the doctor. It gave me a three day weekend. I felt bad about it, though. I called work to let them know my status and it sounded like they were really busy and would have liked for me to be there. I always go to work, I never take sick days.

New episode of 24 soon. I'm downloading it right now.

I got Mario Party 6. How did I get talked into that? The microphone that comes with it is kinda fun. I hope there is some other cooler game that uses it. It's actually the same as that Donkey Konga game. The bongos would be fun, but the game looks a little lacking.

I am in so much pain right now. I think I will need to call in sick to work tomorrow and go to the doctor.
I need help.

What is up with me hurting my ass? Last night, I fell down the stairs while drunk and now it feels like my tailbone is broke or something. :(

Welcome back, Livejournal. I've missed you during your downtime. But you are back now and that's what is important.

Unfortunately, there is nothing really necessary to mention. Today, we had a cleaning party at the house and the kitchen looks a lot better now. I'm moving into my new room at the house (woot for upgrading!), I have a little bit to do to finish that still.

Just ate dinner and I'm feeling fine. It wasn't pizza, even!

This felt like a productive weekend and that lifted my mood a bit. The 24 season premiere was excellent and I'm excited for this season to be started. I've also started with the downloading of 24 episodes, like I do every season. If you are wondering where a good place to start downloading episodes is, might I suggest #tvtorrents website, which as always treated me well.
