Science vs. Norse Mythology. Funny.

I started watching the fifth season of Buffy. I've got to admit that the first episodes aren't blowing me away.

Oh, and I'm really hoping that Elizabeth Hurley will be playing Narcissa, not Bellatrix. The trial scene in Goblet was one of my favourite scenes in all the books, and I'd hate for it to have been cut from the movie.

Character A is played by someone you know intimately OOC. Characters B and C are played by people you have no OOC contact with whatsoever. It's still a bit unfair to have your character X snub characters B and C in favour of A, when canonically character X would have been much closer to B and C.

Discarding the fact that it hurts not to know whether it's because of my characters or because of me that some people just plain don't seem to want to play with me, this IC snubbing has been forcing curves on the characterization of my characters that I never intended and aren't comfortable with.

So thanks for the sideorder of extra angst I didn't order. But, you know. IC actions = IC consequences, so whatever.
