Hi I thought I might introduce myself.
Name: Samhain
Age: 32
Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Ever since I started my personal power has risen considerably. It's a nice way to find your way on the path. Other than that I'm a hereditary witch and am the re-incarnation of my mother's grandmother. I like using herbs and oils in my rituals and like having a balanced assortment of tools on my ritual alter.
Hope to learn and grow with this new community. :)

 everytime i see this picture i can't help but feel myself freeze. don't you think they HAD to be somewhat really stange? not just like us. why those heads them all? nefertiti, her husband and dauthers. i'm not talking specifically about extraterrestrials, but...there must be something not completely human, musn't there?

Blessed Yule everyone!!
So how do you celebrate Yule? Alone? with friends? Do you decorate your home? do you celebrate christmas as well? My family are christians, so i do celebrate with them, but i see it as a family gathering.

I have a prayer request...
My town is currently being... well, "attacked" by local kids. It started a few days before Halloween - you know, toliet paper everywhere & egged my Pastor's house... not too bad... but then they stole one of my scarecrows and someone else's and put it in the graveyard. We got ours back. But then they wrote "dirty/vulgar" things on another local church's windows (Spirit is probably having a fit.) They also stole some of our card-board stand-up things from Halloween and my grandmom found one of them broken in our backyard. Street signs have been pulled up out of the ground & thrown a few blocks down. WE LIVE IN A "MIDDLE OF NOWHERE" TOWN, FAR AWAY FROM A CITY, AND WE LIVED PEACEFULLY... this is so STRANGE to us because of how quiet and homeful our town is. -shrug- It's a really old town, too, soo... please pray to whatever God and/or Goddess you believe in for the safety of my household/home/myself, the rest of the townsfolk and their homes, and for these kids to get it straight & stop terrorizing our town. Thank you. <3 LOVE TO YOU ALL.

ok i have a completely random, but i think relevent question for the community.
does the numbers 3 or 4 have any significant meaning in any of the magic(k) realms?
i am in need of a subject for a paper i have to write over Harry Potter and i noticed that there seems to be an emphasis on the number 3 in Goblet of Fire. so i thought i would come here and ask.
if you can in any way answer this question please do so, and if it is possible can you hit me with a reference or where you got it, please?

Hi everyone. I haven't been really active at all here. I'm finally able to take some time out to get in here.
I have a question. I have no "magickal tools" due to circumstances beyond my control. I was wondering what could be done to celebrate the beginning of Autumn. Any ideas on offerings or anything I can offer to the God/dess? Would a poem about Fall be good enough? Or, what else could be done?

well, this question ain't really about wicca, but i think some of you will maybe help me :)
i've been a wiccan for a pair of years and lately i've been studying egyptian gods and i'm getting REALLY interested on them. i'll sure keep some of these gods for my wiccan works from now on and i'm so happy about learning a little about such interesting people as egyptians were. i'm really impressed about many things and i'm starting to feel them (egyptians)a part of me and feeling connected to some gods (as hathor!) of course.
well, my post is for not such an spiritual thing...hehe. i wondered if any of you have information about how to make an egyptian cloak or anything to wear...or recipies...i don't know, anything for making my rituals more special...make up and stuff. anything really :) thank you!!

Em hotep, I'm new.
Hmm... what to say? Well, after about six months of practicing Kemeticism, I bought a book called Wicca A to Z (just for curiosity's sake, mind you). I was introduced to many things of the Wiccan path that really interested me, and I decided to incorporate them into my current faith. So I can't really call myself Kemetic anymore, and not entirely Wiccan either, but a nice blend of both.
Anyway, I'm glad to have found this community, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

hello,
just joined. i have been a wiccan for a while now but i still have a lot to learn. i have been drawn to the egyptian deities so i'm glad to have found this place.
I have some questions :
- is it so that Kemetic is the reconstruction of the egyptian religion without changing or adding new or wiccan elements (for example circlecasting)
- Is egyptian Wicca the same as Tameran?
- When calling the quarters, do u choose the gods of the winds, or the four sons of Horus?
