I was just reading my weekly Livnot newsletter, and saw that some brilliant person had started an LJ community for Livnot! What a fabulous idea!

My name is Erika-Chaya Shapiro. I went on trip 132 almost 3 years ago *sigh*. It looks like one of my cousins will be going on a trip in January! I am so excited for her. I've been trying desperately to get my friends, family, and anyone else who will listen to go to Livnot.

I just moved from Southern California to Las Vegas about a month ago. If anyone sees their way out to "Sin City", please don't hesitate to stop in for a visit!

I just recieved my most recent Livnot Newsletter and saw the Blog posted there! Very exciting. I want to say hello to anyone who has followed that link and hope you join and post!
If you're new to blogging or LiveJournal, you must first join LJ by going to their homepage and registering for a blog. Once you've set everything up, come back to this page and click the "Post" link below whichever entry you would like to comment on. If you want to make your own post, you have to add livnot to your "communities". This can be done by clicking the link on the right side of this page that says "Info" and clicking "Join". Once that's all done, go to the menu at the top of any regular livejournal page (the blue and white ones), select journal > update, then write your entry, and at the bottom there is an option which says "post to". Choose livnot from the pull down menu, submit your entry and voila! Instant blog! Hopefully you didn't need this post to get all that but I thought it'd be helpful for anyone who might be lost.
Look forward to hearing from our Alumnot and please let me know if there's anything that would improve this blog!
