Getting ready to go in for final #2. Once I leave that room, I'll have two down and two to go. I can't wait for Thursday.

I really hope she hands back my two papers and my last test so I can at least guess what I might end up with for a grade before the final. I'm not holding my breath, though. She takes her time with them and comments on all of them. That part is really cool. It's just hard sitting totally in limbo not knowing what my grade looks like. *sigh*

I guess I'd better go smoke a couple and head toward the classroom. It's hailing outside. Bleah.

It is the 37th Anniversary for Mom and Dad today. They are back from their camping trip but now have jaunted off to Omaha because a friend told them that there's a store on 24th Street that sells Rosamonte Yerba. It's hard to tell what other adventures they'll stumble into on the way there. They're so cute. When I went in to wish them Happy Anniversary this morning, Daddy was flopped over onto Mom's lap on the bed and they were chatting and giggling. Wow. Thirty-seven years. I can't imagine.

Aubrey and Justyne seem to think they want to go swimming today. I really am not up for it because I have a million things I want to catch up on, but Mom left money for it and Justyne knows that so I guess I'm taking them after while anyway.

I am going to try to call Justen. When I called the other day, on the one occasion where I didn't get voice mail, Heather said he went on a run with his dad and wouldn't be back till Tuesday late. Hopefully he's there this morning. I really need to hear his voice.

I have Chris' birthday present (but no money to ship it so will one of you Des Moinesians that is coming up for the 9th please take it back to her??), Chloe's birthday present, and Zoe's birthday present. I am seriously on a roll. It's probably the first time ever that I've had money to get gifts for any of them and I even have them *before* their birthdays! w00t! I don't have Robin's yet because I haven't found it yet.

Well, I need to go balance my checkbook and get some work done before time to take kids swimming. And I suppose I should shave my legs if I'm going to have them exposed to public eyes. Maybe. I will probably post more later. I just can't think of anything interesting at the moment.

It has dawned on me that I have what is possibly the most outdated address book on the planet. It has froololly in Lorimor, lasesco and lord_czernobog in the old apartment, chrisctp on 14th, arwynestaria at Silly&Barah;'s, no address at all for bluehansen, jopo1213 and quothi in Thayer, etc. I have no address at all for several people.

Therefore, I would like to submit an official request to everyone on my friends list. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE email me your snail mail address and your phone number so I can update my Rolodex and maybe be able to contact you all sometimes. While you're at it, will you please include your birthday so I can put those on my calendar and therefore have half a chance of remembering them without having to call my sisters and say "What is _____'s birthday?" Yeah. I think that's about it. Thanks!

I am very tired and regretting my earlier words to the teen and tween... "Sure, I guess you can stay up and watch a movie since it's Saturday night and all." Ugh. I'm going to fall asleep and they'll still be up. I hope that movie is almost over.

I have a funky buttload of stuff I pulled out of Afton storage today. I managed to find most of the things that were on my list. Of course, like a complete moron, I grabbed Justen's tackle box but neither of his fishing poles. Oh well. He's not home till the end of July and I still haven't paid to get a fishing license this year.

I do, however, have my printer cable at last! I can print! And scan! And copy! And fax! And I found my disk drive so I can actually save things! w00t!

In other news, I'm having a very serious episode of basketcase and need to go nail kids into bed so I can get some sleep. Ooft. And I need to balance my checkbook.

I took Justyne and Hayley swimming today. *finally* We had fun. I felt like a marshmallow squeezed into a candy wrapper. Need to exercise again tonight. Punish and prosper. Whiny, good-for-nothing muscles, anyway.

I think I'm going to do crunches while I watch a movie rather than sitting in front of this damned thing.
