Chantelle went through a bit of hell yesterday to get an iPod and the latest problem we're having is that the computer doesn't seem to know it's there. We have USB 1.1 ports, but the manual suggests that we need 2.0 for it to work. I was told that it shouldn't matter, but I'm still not sure. We don't have a firewire connection either and we're probably going to pick that up tomorrow. We've got a Dell DIMENSION DIM 2200 and I was told by another source that getting a firewire PCI card might not work. Anyone?

I've been chatting with this girl I've known for a really long time for hours now. We've seen each other about, on and off, for years. Have a little history together. I never really knew her though. I'd wanted to get to know more about her for some time, but I never got around to it until tonight. I was a really big asshole to her when we first met. Not just once or twice either. I finally got the chance to give her a sincere apology. Now that I know more about just what kind of shit she's gone through in her life, it makes how I treated her worse.
I don't mean to hurt people. I hate it when I do. It boils and festers inside. I regret it for years and years. If any of you call yourselves my friend, I ask that you tell me right away if I'm being a dickhead. Please.

It sounds like Distorted Minds took lessons in Dillinja's remix of T-10 and applied it to the Grimey mix of We Can't Stop. I like it better than T-10 though. Also, the Kaos, Karl K & Jae Kennedy remix of Scorpio by Kantyze is really good. HIGHLY recommended.

A mechanized statue of Santa arrived today. I looked under his pants and he has no penis. I assume this is why Santa has no children of his own, and brings them presents on our Lord's birthday. Gaining muscle is REALLY easy. Keeping off fat is REALLY hard. I haven't been running for a month and I've gained all my flab back. My muskles are getting bigger and harder though. I think I can stick with the running this time, but I don't have much inclination to maintain a totally healthy diet. I love food too much. I want it, and lots of it.

Evol Intent was the suck. It was another Tech Itch situation where all of his tracks started sounding exactly the same. The DJ before him was fantastic though. I should have got his name. Part 2 of the Paranoia EP from Renegade Hardware is verrryyyy nice. Outbroken (That Track) by Spor is especially good.

Good, but definitely not great. I had a conversation with Renegade Master recently, about how Tech Itch starts to sound monotonous after awhile. The same sounds over and over again. The venue was *ass* this time around. The sound system sounded like a bunch of semi-expensive portable stereos lined up along one wall. The atmosphere didn't fit the music this time around either. The highlight of the night was definitely being around people I haven't hung out with in a while. It was good to see you again.
The thought occured to me that instead of just complaining about a set, I should put together something I feel is good. I talked to Rage and he's having a live drum and bass band perform at IRQ next week on Wednesday. I've been invited to play a set at 10pm before they go on. I haven't figured out how to record a set on mp3 yet, so come out and give a listen. Give me a shot for once in your life if you've never been. If you think I suck then feel free to pelt me with tomatoes, eggs, bacon, lettuce, whatever. Come at least for the chance to throw shit at me. I have no worries. My set will be fantastic.
