( Relationship quiz thinger ) Anyway, things are going okay. I've been struggling a bit on and off with the depression and whatnot, but I'll be okay. It just makes it hard to do things. Amusingly, I do them anyway, mostly because I don't want anyone to know anything's wrong. I've been putting my cd's on my computer, I swear sometimes I forget how much I love the Beatles. Well, I've been reminded again! I stole all my dad's cds and put them on here. That's a lot of beatles, I think he has all of their albums on cd. You’re asking me will my love grow, I don’t know, I don’t know. The kittencat is adorable, if a bit rambunctious. She bites too, especially when she's playing or trying to get our attention. We'll have to somehow teach her not to do that. Oh. Look what else I found when I was going through my cd's. I completely forgot I had this stuff. Apoptygma Berserk! God, it's been like 3 years since I've listened to this. *laughs* Ah well. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know I'm still alive, and yes still reading your journals. I just don't feel a whole lot of need to post in my own. It comes and goes. Time to go and get ready for work now. |

So! I've been absent for a bit, huh? Silly old me. Actually, for awhile I was busy, then I just simply never got around to updating, and then we had a blizzard. And said blizzard caused the power to go on and off several times. And said power aberrations caused the hard drive on my laptop to go kablooey. And thusly I now type this on a new computer. Yes, it's Dell, and yes I quite likely overpaid for it. However, I needed it quickly, and I wanted it warrantied. Both of which I got, so I'm pleased. We got an insane amount of snow. Something over three feet, and then the storm on wednesday added like another foot. If you wanna see some random pictures of it, go here. Don't mind the random pictures of the kitten, or the pictures from the football game. So, I'm going to school. still! Hm. This semester looks like this: 8-8:50 Psychology of Learning 9-9:50 Intro to sociology 10-10:50 History II 11-11:50 Biopsychology 12-12:50 Chemistry Full day, but I'm out by 1 which is nice :) So, I'm at work on thursday, on the drive through (Yes, our pharmacy has a goddamn drive through) and this guy is dropping off a prescription to fill. So, he drops it on the ground outside the window, and I look out and notice not only his prescription, but a credit card as well. So he gets both of them and hands them to me, and I hand off the credit card, and pass along the prescription to the proper person, and it's not till about a half hour later that I'm back filling prescriptions, and the lady I handed the card to was all "Did you notice whose card that was?!" and I was ermn, surprised to say the least at her vehemence at the question. Then she asked me who gave me the card, and I told her about seeing it on the ground and whatnot. Anyway, long story short, it was Steven Tyler's black american express card. So yay! I did good for Steven Tyler! *beams* I bet that guy wishes he had found it, and not me. I don't think there's a limit on that card, if I remember correctly. SO yes, that was the big thing of my past uh, days. I had pictures of kittencat! (pippin!) but they were all on the computer that died. So uh, I don't have them now. But I'll take more! I promise! She's adorable, and super playful. Very cute. Ah well, Imma head off now and go to bed. I promise, I'll try to remember to update more often. Really! :D |

Ghostbusters! The Science Behind Paranormal Investigations OGBP-01 Friday 06:00 PM - 09:00 PM 28-Jan-05 to 28-Jan-05 Instructor: Stephen Gonsalves Location: 5 Comm. Ave. I know *some* of you said you would, so go and register! :) You have to register before the class, you can't pay at the door, apparently. I'm all registered and ready to go! Hmm. I've been dragging lately, dunno how to pull myself out of it. I took some pictures of myself, to show myself how chubby I've gotten. A 'before' picture, as it were. No, I'm not showing them on here. Not until I've lost some of the chubbiness anyway. :) It was surprising, even though I see myself nekkid every day, to see how chubby I am. Ah well, off to work, and to not eat junk food. Huzzah. |

So then! I went to show my mom this today: ( Mom's christmas present ) Isn't she *adorable*?! Mom's thinking of Rosie, Gracie or Pip for names, I kinda like Pip, and Rosie. See, she likes Pippin, because she thinks of the kitty as small and having big feet (she has double paws on all four feet), but pippin is a boys name! That's why I suggested Rosie. Rosie Cotton! Sam's girl! I kinda like Pip myself, as it'll never be a big kitty, and we can always call her pipsqueak. though, that's kinda mean. I just had to show you the adorableness. |

You know, the day before I'm supposed to go down to pennsylvania for 5 days, I *would* wake up sick. Just a cold though, nothing big. I need to figure out this whole burning of cd's thing, so I can make a disk to take on the plane/in the airport with me. Yep. And uh, pack. Yes, clothes are good. However! I also need to fit all these clothes in my little red suitcase. I refuse to checky my luggage, ever. Especially this time of year. I'm excited, I got the last three seasons of stargate for christmas. And! My mom replaced my old old ratty copy of Watership Down with a new hardcover one. Hallelujah! Now I can read it without pages falling out :D I got some other stuff too, but that's not important. I realized over the weekend that it's fairly probable that I won't get Izzy's presents in the mail before I go down there. Well, maybe one of them. *ponder* He'll just have to take it on my word that they're coming! ;) In a way, it's almost easier. Now I won't have to find a place for them in the suitcase either. That woulda been tough. Ah well. Poor planning on my part! It's really the only case of it this christmas though, I got everything else I wanted to for people, and they were all thrilled. I love to get things for people that they normally wouldn't have spent the money on, but they love. I love it when I'm able to do that for people :) Hmmm. What've I been up to. Really, just working, mudding and sleeping. Oh, and watching Stargate. Damn, I'm boring. ;) |

So I bought the return of the king today, and my obsession with elves - not just legolas, all elves - and pippin - not all hobbits, just pippin - have soared to new heights. *sighs dreamily* I want an elf! Not to be one, I just want one. *sighs some more* Or a billy boyd. one or the other. Or maybe several elves, and a billy boyd. sounds good to me. Sheesh I'm such a fangirl. |

I need a bigger hard drive, I have something like 20 disks of mp3's from my brother, and only 3 gig left free on my hd. *sigh* I really hope my mom and dad can give me some money for a computer. I *could* technically afford one now, but then I'd have no money as a reserve, and with the way my car is acting, I'll probably need some reserve-money soon. I think, when I get to $4,000 in the bank, I'll take out $2000 and buy the computer that way. By that time, I should be able to buy a pretty good comp. I'm thinking probably dell, as the computers my family have gotten from there have been good. ( Survey thinger yoinked from thelastsong ) You know what's amusing? Taking a course on Consumer Psychology, understanding that people who have oodles of money are no more happy than people without much (and indeed can be worse off), and *still* wanting material posessions. Human nature I guess. My eye is bugging me again. I go in on monday morning for a brain/orbital mri, and uh, wednesday I have an appointment with an opthamologist. Which I don't think is spelled right, but that's not important. I dunno if I posted about that in here yet, and I'm too lazy to go back and check. Anyway, I should go off and get the hell away from the computer for the first time in like a week. I shall go and do so. |

As I grew older, I was determined to understand the creatures and forces that I dreamt of (though the dreams themselves are a common childhood affliction), so that the night terrors would cease, and in fact they eventually did, though I'm not certain that was from growing out of them, or my own research and study. As a co-founder of TAPS, I am curious as to whether you would be able to give me any advice as to how to contact a group in the area and learn about official investigating. ( I live in Southeastern Massachusetts ). I would like to join up with a team and learn more, but I'm not certain that they would take me seriously. I can only imagine that with the popularity of the Ghosthunters show on Sci Fi, that the more highly regarded groups are leery of taking on eager new recruits. Any advice you can give me on this subject would be great. I hate this class. So much busy work. Just give us a damned multiple choice test. I can study for that. I don't have to deal with all this writing out pretty much exactly what's in the book then. C'mon. I used to do stuff like this in the fourth grade. "Answer this question in a complete sentence" which meant "Repeat this sentence and add in one word of your own." *grumbles and gets back to typing* Oh. Wait. I need music to sleep to. Things like this song here. There can't be any dramatic shifts in the music, or overly loud parts, or it will wake me up. Any ideas? It can have words or not, that part doesn't matter so much. I'd appreciate any suggestions. If you wanna know what sort of thing I'm talking about, look up these songs on the chrono cross soundtrack: radical dreamers (the one with words), another world, death sea tower, fragment of a dream, prisoners of fate. Those are the only songs I could find anywhere when I started trying to download them again, I'd *love* more of that soundtrack, the music off it is wonderful. Anything you can suggest (as well as a place to find it) I'd appreciate. Okay. Back to work. *sighs* |

I hate that I can't focus enough to write this easy ass piece of shit paper for consumer psych. This thing is easy! It's a literature review that I've read all the literature for in the past! How hard is that?! Come on! I *know* this shit! But I keep getting distracted, and rambling on and on with people, and my parents come in and talk to me, and I get up to go to the bathroom and come back 40 minutes later, having stopped on the way to watch tv with my mom. ...it's getting ridiculous! Not only that, but I have a whole 'nother paper to write. AND! I have another set of questions to answer, and two finals to study for before thursday! Huzzah! I never thought I'd be one to say this, but I HATE SCHOOL. I HATE THIS STUPID BUSYWORK THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CLASS. I also hate that I didn't get this paper done three weeks ago, when I was reminded of it. And that I didn't do that case study over the weekend like I was going to.
