| Bio: | I grew up in Oxford, where I attended church schools and got in trouble for writing stories about Jesus going on shooting sprees. In 1997 I moved to Edinburgh where I got an honours degree in Computer Science, and discovered that I hate computers.
I spent five months in the States, where my parents moved, feeling isolated and wondering what to do with myself; in the end I discovered a lot about myself, and finally learned to love the country. While I consider myself to be a damn liberal hippie and fervently anti-Bush, I have a huge respect for the American people. It's also a beautiful country.
Nonetheless, I came back, and eventually got a job with the University of Edinburgh, split between their sports science and learning technology departments. In September 2004 I quit, moved back down to Oxford, and am now working on several freelance projects as well as having a hell of a lot more fun. (I don't think anyone's cut out for a 9 to 5 desk job.) at a 9 to 5 desk job at the university.
