THE RUNDOWN
Here’s a rundown on what’s happening in my life lately…
CARLO’S TAROT READING SESSION
It was an ordinary Thursday evening and all of my friends are gathered at our usual hangout, Starbucks Megastrip, for an night of gay-bashing and boy watching sessions! What’s special is that our friend, Carlo brought along his set of tarot cards with him to read our fortunes! (Yes, it was full moon! Which according to them, it’s the best time to read fortunes.)
I was kinda skeptic at first because I’m really not an aficionado of fortune telling and stuff. I still stick with my principle that one shouldn’t base their life in some silly cards. But what the heck???!!! I gave it a shot anyway!
When it was my turn already, I listened attentively as Carlo analyzed my cards. Here’s what I have found out… I’ll be successful in my chosen field, gain more friends, my spiritual life will be getting back at shape, healthy and stable family members… it’s almost perfect but the catch here is… that I will be not lucky in love department this year! I’m afraid that Coco’s curse to me might be true… that I’m destined to be single forever! Well, I hope not! I’m really looking forward in having a lover this year. I’m tired of being single already! I know that I’ve been good and I believe that I deserve to be happy!
CLEAN-FUN GIMMICK
Thank God! Salary has been released already! Imagine, I survived the entire week with a 40 bucks allowance a day! I have no idea on how I managed to survive! It’s a miracle! The bad news is… I’m so pressured with work these days because I still haven’t reached my quota yet. It bothers me a lot. But one thing that I can assure is that I’m going to do my best and make everything happen.
After work, I met up with my friends and decided to go to take our mind off with work a bit! We went to Friends El Pueblo and danced the night away! It was fun and I really had a great time considering that it’s a straight bar. I got home at around 3 a.m. already.
BRIANNA’S BIRTHDAY BASH
I woke up just in time for my late lunch and prepare for my niece party. I arrived at Don Henrico’s Banawe and the party was already starting. All my relatives of my father side were there. Brianna was so cute in her red dress with matching tiara! Of course, Julia, Yuri and Chandler were there too. It is always fun having those kids around! Food was great as always… After the party, we stayed at my sister’s place for awhile to kill time. I left their house around 7 p.m. already.
NOT-SO-HOT DATE
The time had finally arrived! It’s my first date with Rene. Trust me! You have absolutely no idea how excited I am that night! This is the only thing that kept me going all days of the week. Before anything else, here’s a backgrounder… Rene is the guy that I met in Bed a few Saturdays ago. He is SUPER DUPER HOT! I am not exaggerating… its true! He approached me that night and we were allover with each other, flirting until dawn! We traded number which leads us to a date…
I had coffee first at Café Breton at Greenbelt to ease up my nervousness. (I’m always nervous every time that I date someone I really like!) We had dinner at Bubba Gump which is by the way is so fucking expensive! The food is great! Especially what we had for dessert, Almond & Pecan Ice Cream cake! It was fabulous!
Here’s the ugly part… the date didn’t turned out the way I wanted it to be. His friends rudely tagged along, we accidentally bumped with them while we were on our way to Starbucks! So I decided to leave and be with my friends instead.
KENZO’S BIRTHDAY BASH
After my date, I went to JC’s place because the whole herd was there! Spend the night playing Taboo and charades which was really fun!
MALATE
I left at JC’s around 1 a.m. already, took a cab and proceeded to Malate and went directly inside Bed. The place was jammed-packed with all those familiar faces. I quickly searched the crowd and looked for him… And there he is… dancing! Looking at him really made my heart skipped a beat! I saw Eric approaching towards me which divided my attention.
The night didn’t turn out well. We didn’t even have the chance to talk since we were both surrounded by different crowds. I am disappointed because I know where this will lead to… So right there and then! I decided to end it!
Anyway, I saw Erwin there too… Thank God he isn’t angry at me after not returning his calls and messages. I got home 6 a.m. already.
BIRTH
I woke up 2:30 p.m.
I didn’t know that it was my Mom’s birthday celebration. My relatives were all present. I quickly ate my late lunch and stayed upstairs and watched Wimbledon on DVD. I love the movie so much!
My sister Armi gave birth to a baby girl today also… Her name is Madeleine Dawn and Mandy is her nickname. Isn’t that cute? I’m glad that my sister was o.k. I wasn’t able to visit her in the hospital because I wasn’t feeling well due to stomach pains. Michael and Melan dropped by at my place and had dinner.
That’s a wrap-up for now. I’ll write the 2nd part soon! I have to split now because my stomach is grumbling already. I’m gonna grab something to eat first. Ciao!

B is very problematic during K’s party. I wonder what V did to him.
L already knows about V & B. Believe it or not… he is so cool about it.
C saw N & J. He tried to be civil about it. Think of their pathetic lives that they have at the moment.
