I finished Neal Pollack's Never Mind the Pollacks and read Craig Thompson's Goodbye Chunky Rice and Banksy's Banging Your Head Against a Brick Wall, Existencilism, and Cut it Out today. They were all good.

If you like Banksy you can borrow his books from me because if you don't you'll have to import them from England to see them and they aren't cheap.

Now I'm on to Giraffes? Giraffes! and bed.

Mr. DJ played Rock Creek Park and Cameo's Candy. Rock Creek Park is one of the greatest songs of all time.

I was blinded by some of the worst faux dancing I've ever seen.

Horses were quite good. I seem to absolutely love alt-country. Anna Oxygen is an acid dream with hot girls. I think this just proves that I will like anything if hot chicks are involved. The Catch were great as always and gave me a valentine.

I wanted to buy the Catch and Horses EPs/albums/whatever but there was no merch table.

Also: Girls are driving me absolutely insane with perceived stupidity lately. (Not anyone reading this).

U.S.E.: Awesome as always, new stuff is good, so is hot tattooed black-haired dancer in pink shirt.

The Joggers: Singing and musicianship seperately good, does not belong together and hence lack of interest on my part.

Ted Leo/Pharmacists: Holy fuckin' awesome. I especially like their drummer, I am going to call him Lightnin' Sticks. They played everything I wanted to hear.

The Catch tomorrow night at Neumo's, 21+ gogogo it will be good and if you pretend to be my girlfriend you get in cheaper because it's St. Valentinefuck's day.

I went and saw Luna last night. The Midnight Movies opened and I was impressed by their singing female drummer. Singing drummers are pretty rare, female ones even rarer. I did not know Luna's bassist was so amazingly hot but it was an exxxcellent surprise. On the way home I stopped the car in the middle of the street to gank a show poster because I have become very compulsive about having them for every show I go to. Nick thought I was getting out to "beat up a bum".

I am still sick. I am also hungry all of the time now.

Today was a good day, I got paid and got my tax money back. I don't owe the IRS back-taxes from 2001 anymore, awesome. I also got my mixer (a Soundcraft Compact 10 that fucking rules) and a new dual-layer DVD/CD burner. I am rich!

Too bad our bookkeeper hasn't changed my tax shit yet, I got $200 taken out again that I won't see until next year. Maybe if I claim exempt for next paycheck and don't pay any taxes...

M83 is awesome.

So is Ananda Shankar, and so is the name of his record label (Outcaste), and so is KEXP for playing both M83 and Mr. Shankar. Ananda also happens to be Ravi Shankar's late nephew.

Visqueen was fucking awesome. I had Rachel sign my sister's ticket stub and she was way excited.

The Cops were great and their bassist did both pick & non-pick.

Dark Sargeant reminded me of Dakota / Dakota with more singing and also of Nintendo music and a little bit of Sunny Day Real Estate.

Aqueduct: Holy shit they are even better than the last time and played Damn it Feels Good to be a Gangster, Remix to Ignition, and Don't Stop Believin'.

I ganked two posters from the window after I asked Mr. Securityface if I could. I am so polite.
