FAQ Question #68

» How do I embed my LiveJournal into my website?

Instructions for embedding your LiveJournal into your website can be found at http://www.livejournal.com/developer/embedding.bml .

Paid accounts can use any of the methods listed at that page to embed their journal into their website and can use customview.cgi to customize the appearance of their embedded journal by creating a custom style, as explained at http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=128 .

Free accounts can only embed their journal using the HTML frames method (http://www.livejournal.com/developer/embedding.bml?method=frameslayers) and are limited to using the same style for both their journal on LiveJournal and their embedded journal. If you have a free account, but would like to be able to customize your embedded journal or use the other embedding methods, you will need to purchase a paid account (http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=21).
