who else misses breaking pangaea?
all i can say is kennett square, ywca, rex's, repo records, the isc, and many many others. 2001-2003 were awesome years for me in west chester. i recently went to the show in lancaster to see fred. it gave me goosebumps. i felt privileged to shout out "human nature" another time. i hope that i get to see b.p. another time live. it's been over a year, damn. i remember when b.p. was touring w/ coheed and who?...ha, and orange island, and shows promoted by my good buddy todd. breaking pangaea, i just wanna thank you for some of the best music/shows/times of my teenage years. it meant/and still means a lot.
p.s.-the amount of alcohol i have consumed prior to writing this doesn't devalue any of the content.

Just thought I would drop a line in the BP camp and give an update:
Breaking Pangaea is planning to do 3-5 shows around the end of February. We aren't exacly sure where yet but its tentatively Philly, NY, NJ, maybe Ohio. Everyones schedules are so difficult to coordinate. But February should work out good for us three.

I saw Freds solo show in lancaster, it was amazing. The boy has come a long way, I felt like I was watching VH1 storytellers. Thats what happens when you become a big rock star.
As far as myself, I have been helping a good friends band out playing guitar for them. We are sheduled to record a little EP at Salad Days Studio in a couple weeks for a japanese import release(crazy stuff)

i was in best buy today and ran accross copies of cannon to a whisper and the take apart the words ep. they are marking them with a "featuring fred mascherino guitar/singer of taking back sunday and will noon the drummer of straylight run" sticker. i know they werent there a few days ago so that means the stored must have ordered some copies to sell today. could this be a sign that there might be a push for another bp album if they are marketing these albums. then again, it could just be them trying to milk the tbs/straylight run sales. who knows. anyways. i saw that and thought i should post a comment on it.

What a holiday it's turning out to be. We have been home for a week now and it is awesome. The band got together last week to accept this award from the College Music Awards and we had a fun night. I'm just getting ready for Santa Claus and all that stuff now. If any one is in the area, I'm playing two acoustic shows next week. One is in Lancaster, Pa at the Chameleon Club on the 29th and one is with My Chem in Sayreville. It's just me and a guitar. I couldn't decide what to name it, so one show just says Fred Mascherino and one says Basic Design (which is the name of an old song I wrote). There is a third name that's kind of funny- "The Color Fred". Anyway, I was wondering what you guys would think so I set up an email: whatsfredsname@yahoo.com. Email me with what you think it could be called. It could be one of those 3 choices or something else. I'd be grateful for some input. Talk to you soon,

Thanks to Dave (who even though we aren't talking anymore still gave them to me) I have all of the breaking pangaea videos from the reunion show in Philly in Jan. I'm so happy... the sound isn't that great on them, but it's still awesome.
No thanks to Clint who never sent them to me... but that's okay.

Who saw Fred on Jimmy Kimball tonight?
Holy Crap! He's so good... and the singer for TBS is so bad. I was just hooked on Fred and pretending will was on the drums and clint was playing bass... well not really.... I was looking at the singer thinking what a idiot he looks like and how amazing Fred sounds.
Anyway... Cece you'll know this one, but who's Scout? Is it Fred's other kid? Is it a boy? I'm lost in the kid buisness... I just know he had another one.
Anyway... Fred is just amazing and I keep going to see TBS cause of him and I like the new album cause of him...... *swoony swoon*
ps. i love will and clint too.

The last post a few minutes ago made me want to post too.
Fred:
So how many of you out there hated Taking Back Sunday and now love them because Fred is so amazing? Everytime I hear his voice in the back up vocals I want to cry (just kidding) cause I miss breaking pangaea. I'm moving to Austin so if they have another reunion show i'm going to have to fly back or some shit.
I keep hearing that TBS song on MTV cause it's on the leak and I love seeing Fred on TV all the time.
Will:
I missed him in Austin when he played with Straylight run and that stunk. I love seeing him drum w/ his shirt and shoes off, *swoony swoon* I'll see him soon i'm sure.
Clint:
I miss his hot ass. I haven't talked to him forever..... next BP show or something.

everyone's been posting about the show, so here's my first chance to post (i worked all weekend).
wow...they were amazing! they played better then they ever have. as they played the first note, i became immersed into the music instantaneously like it was something so close to me. i love when i feel that at a show. it's a beautiful feeling. and that always means it's going to be an amazing show when i feel that. such an indescribable feeling. and to think i saw them at the exact place a couple years ago when the place was less then half full..
so glad i finally got to see them again.
