The syn_promo community (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=syn_promo) exists for the purpose of promoting syndicated accounts, and users are encouraged to use it to announce syndicated accounts that they create.

You may also wish to post in the syn_quest community (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=syn_quest), where other LiveJournal users can help you find a syndicated account that relates to your interests.

You may also find http://www.livejournal.com/syn/list.bml useful. This is a list of all recently updated syndicated accounts. Also, http://www.livejournal.com/syn/raw.bml shows the same list, only plain-text instead of in the site scheme you are currently viewing.
