Fantasy Football Question

I am in a keeper league, and I need your help.  We are trying to decide how to announce the keepers.  So I have a question for you- How does your league announce keepers?  We are trying to decide if everyone should have to submit them blindly before the draft, or if they should just be announced at the draft.  If they are announced at the draft how do you decide who announces when?  I think I am in favor of eveyone submitting them before the draft blindly, but I don't feel that strongly about it.

I would love to know what your league does and why.

Also keep in mind that you can get your CBS Fantasy Football league for half off by following this link, and don't forget that the award-winning CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Commissioner League is a highly popular fantasy option thanks to its high levels of league customization, its draft options (live, continuous or auction drafts supported), and its mobile phone accessibility, not to mention its historical archiving for future seasons and fast live scoring.

Injuries appear to be the story of the day on Tuesday.  William Hayes left practice with what appeared to be a knee injury according to Jonathan Hutton.  Defensive end is really a position the Titans cannot afford another injury.  Derrick Morgan still hasn't practiced and Jacob Ford has missed the past couple of days.  Right now your starting defensive ends are Jason Babin and Dave Ball.  Who's fired up about that?

Friend of MCM Alterraun Verner appeared to tweak his ankle at one point today, but he was able to finish practice.  Unfortunately Vincent Fuller also suffered a leg injury and was not able to finish practice according to John Glennon, but Jim Wyatt reports that Jeff Fisher said Fuller should be fineCortland Finnegan didn't practice again today.  If Tye Hill is going to have every opportunity to prove he is worth a roster spot.

Jonathan Hutton gives us this picture of Chris Johnson's new shoes.

Adam Schefter was at camp today and was the feature of the latest Titans All Access with Mike Keith.  The video is on the official site.

Tennessee Titans Morning Links: Could Vann Be The Man? Edition

Somebody tell Jamie Winborn that you don't get bonus points by smacking the best RB in the NFL around during blocking drills in training camp.

Somebody tell Jamie Winborn that you don't get bonus points by smacking the best RB in the NFL around during blocking drills in training camp.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Tye Hill was brought in during the offseason mostly because of his physical skills, but it's been that same body that has betrayed him so far in camp. Now, having returned to individual drills, Hill is on the precipice of doing what he came here to do: prove to the coaches that if they put him on the active roster he can add some veteran experience and a quick burst to the mix of young and younger CB prospects we have these days.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Damian Williams still isn't all the way healthy, and that's boding worse and worse for his chances at winning the return spot during this offseason. Boding even worse than that? According to the player's agent, the Titans have expressed an interest in LeRoy Vann, who was released by the 49ers on Monday. Vann was a stand-out at historically black college FAMU and when he left for the NLF in 2009, he did so as one of 5 players in NCAA history to collect 1,000 yards in both kick and punt returns. So yeah, get him in here Mikey. He definitely sounds like he's worth a look.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 In related news, Williams is trying to be ready to go Wednesday when the Titans hold their next special teams practice, and at least yesterday he was able to participate in the warm-ups for the first time.

Tennessee Titans Monday Training Camp Recap

Cortland Finnegan missed practice for the third straight day.  It is still being called a muscle strain.  I guess there is no reason to be concerned considering we are still a month out from a game that matters, but it would be nice if Fisher would give us some more info.  I know, good luck with that.

Jacob Ford missed practice again today.  He has a muscle pull.

John Glennon has my favorite line of the day:

Rookie cornerback Alterraun Verner put a big pop on tight end Sean Ryan and knocked the ball loose after a completion. He seems to make a big play every day.

That's what happens when you associate yourself with the fine people here at MCM.

From the same report it seems that Lavelle Hawkins and Sen'Derrick Marks continue to impress. That is good news because those are two of the guys that are on the long list of players the Titans need to step up this year.

Tye Hill returned to practice today. I don't expect him to make a push for the starting position, but he could add some quality depth to the position.

There is still no sign of the Titans first two picks on the practice field, but it seems that Damian Williams is getting close.

The Arizona Drive - A Case Study in Offensive Success

Every Titans fan remembers this one.  It might have been the most exciting finish of the entire NFL season.  It certainly was for Tennessee followers.  But, as a fan, it provided so much more.

I've probably watched the clip 10 times this offseason.  And, it wasn't only how we won it that made it so special.  It was who won it for us.  The youth movement for this organization was front and center.  Vince.  CJ (maybe just as a decoy, but there nonetheless).  Cook.  Hawkins.  Britt.  We saw that in the most difficult of situations they could dig deep as a team and find a way to win in a way they hadn't been able to all season; through the air.

Follow me through the jump for a look at this drive on a play by play basis and what it means for the team moving forward.  Some plays have been omitted, ie. Most of the incompletions.
