Frist Lies to Matt Lauer
Majority Leader Bill Frist this morning on the Today Show:
LAUER: But when you stood on the floor and you said, She does respond, are you at all worried that you led some senators…
FRIST: I never said, She responded. I said I reviewed the court videotapes — the same ones the other doctors reviewed — and I questioned, Is her diagnosis correct?

I have looked at the video footage. Based on the footage provided to me, which was part of the facts of the case, she does respond.

The show in its current form is a collection of fluff wrapped around almost non stop advertising. I think that the Weather Channel has far superior content.

By the way, Frist is not the only ethically-challenged Republican to represent my state in the U.S. Senate. His counterpart, Sen. Alexander, is pushing anti-windmill legislation. Yes, anti-WINDMILL legislation. Seems they’re an aesthetically displeasing addition to the landscape and mess up the view of some property he owns in Massachusetts. Don’t have to wonder why so many of us red-staters are so blue.
