UPDATE 6:45PM PDT: Slater's $2500 bail was posted, and
law enforcement sources tell us he left the jail within
the last 15 minutes.
TMZ has obtained an internal memo emailed to JetBlue inflight crew members, making it perfectly clear -- the airline is pissed at Steven Slater.
According to the memo ... before Slater went into high-drama mode, the plane was already parked, attached to the jetway and the passengers were in the process of deplaning. According to the memo, sent by Vicky Stennes, VP of Inflight Experience, "...the forward service door was purposely re-armed and the slide intentionally deployed, endangering lives and equipment."
The memo goes on: "Some media outlets are portraying yesterday's event as a humorous example of what individuals may consider doing at a point in their careers -- walking off the job in a very public fashion. However ... deploying a slide is a forceful event and yesterday's deployment endangered, and could have severely injured or even killed."
The memo also offers crew members counseling ... we're guessing it's not about deploying the slide.

Teri Hatcher is more deceitful than a housewife on Wisteria Lane -- this according to a new lawsuit filed by a former good friend.
Jennifer Glassman claims Hatcher convinced her to quit her PR job to become Vice Prez of Teri's production company -- and get 50% of all the spoils.
Here's the problem. Jennifer didn't get the deal in writing. According to the suit, after joining Teri's company, she was asked to sign a blank contract as a "formality," giving Teri the right to fire her at will ... which she did.
In the lawsuit filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Jennifer claims she was not only extremely competent, but forced to handle "Hatcher's mood swings and unusual requests." Among the requests -- scheduling doctors' appointments, planning parties, researching vacation arrangements and hiring a dog trainer.
Jennifer claims Hatcher fired her a few months before Teri got a big fat check for the launch of a website supported by Disney ... a website Jennifer claims she had a big part in creating.
The suit -- claiming fraud, intentional deceit, wrongful termination and emotional distress -- seeks unspecified damages.
UPDATE: We just got a statement from Teri's rep, who called the lawsuit a "ridiculous fabrication." Brad Cafarelli added, "It is unfortunate that the many opportunities Ms. Hatcher afforded the former employee are now being so implausibly twisted and contorted." Cafarelli says Teri and Disney will vigorously fight the suit, and nail Glassman with "substantial counterclaims ... for her reckless and premeditated misconduct on her departure."

Fantasia Barrino's overdose last night was caused by a combination of aspirin and a sleep aid ... this according to the "American Idol" champ's manager.
The rep just released a statement saying Fantasia ingested the medication after feeling "overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention" surrounding her relationship with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Antwaun Cook ... who happens to be married.
The statement continues, "Last night, Fantasia was hospitalized. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time. Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon."
The rep also explains that Fantasia "believed" Antwaun Cook when he told her "he was not happy in his marriage [to Paula Cook] and his heart was not in it."

Steven Slater's mom says she's lucky she wasn't the one who faced her son's aggressive passenger yesterday onboard that JetBlue flight -- because according to her, it would have been game over.
Diane Slater says she can't blame her son for having "a very small meltdown" after his scuffle with a passenger -- in fact, if she had been in the same position ... Diane claims she would have "snapped more."
Steven's mom wants the female passenger who allegedly hit him over the head to be prosecuted.

The police who responded to Fantasia Barrino's home last night were told the "American Idol" champ had attempted to commit suicide by ingesting pills ... this according the police report obtained by TMZ.
According to the report, cops received a 911 call at 10:13 PM last night ... and responded to Fantasia's home in North Carolina.
Once they arrived on the scene, they listed her injury as "serious" and then transported her to a local hospital.

TMZ has learned ... ex-NFL star Mark Fields -- who played for the Carolina Panthers -- was arrested Sunday for allegedly beating the mother of his 6-year-old child ... and then putting her in a chokehold.
According to police docs -- obtained by TMZ -- witnesses say Mark confronted his ex outside a childcare facility near Phoenix, Arizona ... where he allegedly proceeded to beat her, put her in a chokehold, throw her on the ground, and then threaten to kill her.
Cops claim both Mark's baby mama and young daughter were seen by paramedics for mild injuries.
According to the docs, Mark's ex claims she was dropping off court-ordered paperwork when Mark showed up and went ballistic. Mark -- who was allegedly violating an order of protection by showing up -- told cops his ex-GF had tried to take his daughter from his arms.
The former linebacker is charged with aggravated assault, endangerment, disorderly conduct, and interfering with an educational institution. He was released from jail yesterday.

If Levi Johnston really plans on running for Mayor of Wasilla, he needs to do two things first -- get a high school education and stop dropping his pants for nudie magazines ... this according to the current Mayor of Wasilla.
TMZ just spoke with Mayor Verne Rupright, who's offering sound political advice to Levi -- after the 20-year-old announced he'll be running for Mayor of Wasilla next year as part of his new reality show.
Rupright tells TMZ his advice for Levi is, "Get your high school diploma and keep your clothes on"-- because, according to Rupright, "voters like it that way."
When it comes to the Levi's ability to run the city, Rupright -- a Vietnam war veteran -- tells TMZ, "I don't know if I could handle those responsibilities when I was Levi's age. I was still trying to figure out how to put on my uniform."

TMZ has learned JetBlue's most infamous flight attendant Steven Slater is currently "in transportation" to a Rikers Island correctional facility, this according to NYC Department of Corrections.
According to the official booking sheet, Slater is listed at 5'8" and 190 lbs.
Earlier today, Slater was arraigned on 2 counts of criminal mischief, 2 counts of reckless endangerment and 1 count of criminal trespassing ... all stemming from an altercation with a passenger on a JetBlue aircraft yesterday.
If convicted, Slater could face up to 7 years in federal prison.
