Whew. On August 7, I rode the 110-mile PanMass Challenge to help raise money for cancer treatment and prevention. It wasn't an easy ride - 110 miles is a long way no matter how you do it - but it was a fantastic day, inspiring to be part of such a great event.
With your help, we raised more than $111,000 to support my ride, and the PanMass Challenge is optimistic it will blow past its $31 million target for the event. This is money that will make a real difference in people's lives, improving treatment options for people who have cancer now, and saving others in the future from the disease.
I rode for my friend Ted Kennedy, my wife Teresa, my dad, the mother of my daughters, myself - everyone who's been touched by cancer. The disease is a formidable foe, but days like August 7th are vital for us to beat it. Thank you so much for all of your help.
