The main reason the U.S. government didn’t bring down the World Trade Center on 9/11 is that no one has the ability to pull off a conspiracy like that.

Guys with box cutters being given orders by a guy in a cave in Afghanistan could pull it off, but that wasn’t a “conspiracy” or anything. They’re just really fucking spontaneously special guys. Good thing the Ruskies thought we had an air defense system during the Cold War.
