It looks like Zach Galifianakis' joint-smoking stunt on HBO's Real Time With Bill Maher was more STUNT than it was JOINT.

Zach's appearance became a huge story because of his audacious move on live TV, but now it appears that it was a hoax.

Here's what Maher's publicist said to Celeb site RumorFix about it:

"It was not an actual joint. It was a prop."

Here's what Maher said to CNN's Wolf Blitzer about Zach's appearance:

"If it was a real joint, Wolf, I would have smoked it…I think it was cloves or something. Zach's crazy, [but] he's not that crazy."

It was still a funny bit, but we're thinking there may be some stoners fans out there who may feel deceived.

There and back again!

This morning, rapper Gucci Mane wast charged with several traffic violations, including driving on the wrong side of the road, running a red light or stop sign, damage to government property, obstruction, no license and no proof of insurance.

And , if that wasn't bad enough, Gucci reportedly resisted arrest had to be restrained using pepper spray. This is coming off his last stint in jail last may, when we was caught violating his parole for something else. In total, Gucci has been in jail at least five times since his initial 2005 arrest on drug, aggravated assault or aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.

Wow! Talk about a path of destruction. Why does he even bother leaving his cell?

How nice! Very mature of you both to stay friends after your split.

Yesterday was Penn Badgley's 24th birthday and to celebrate the occasion, Blake Lively brought a cake to the set of Gossip Girl. The pair were filming a scene with Ed Westwick, but neither seem too concerned with him.

Looks like Penn made a wish before he blew out the candles. Wonder what it could of been for?

A reconciliation perhaps? By the look on Blake's face in that hug, we don't think she would be against it.

Okay, so nobody's actually talking about a third Hot Shots film, but they ARE talking about Major League 4 and The Expendables 2.

According to a "London Insider," Charlie Sheen is rumored to have a starring role in an upcoming film Guns of the Dead.

He's also SUPPOSEDLY up for a role in Major League 4 with Inception's Tom Berenger AND a role as a "washed up but useful CIA type who chases Bruce Willis in 'The Expendables 2.' "

We'll be curious to see what happens with these projects, if anything.

…And yeah, we would be interested in seeing Sheen reprise his Major League role along with Tom Hardy Tom Berenger.

Teen Mom stars Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley have officially split, according to Amber's father, Shawn Portwood.

Shawn admits that the pair have finally decided to part ways, claiming that they "don't mix" and there's "not enough there" to make a relationship work.

A mature decision. Thank goodness!

As far as what this means for next season of Teen Mom, Shawn admits that they'll probably do "separate" filming from now on.

Ultra-loaded investment guru Charles Brandes paid Christina Aguilera $1 million to perform at his Halloween party in San Diego on Saturday night.

Xtina was booked to perform between 7:30 and 8:30 pm, which cost him $16,666 per minute. And that didn't include hair, makeup, travel and other related costs.

Insiders close to Brandes claim that Aguilera was only paid half a million, but sources close to Christina insist that she was paid the whole kitten caboodle.

Does it really matter?! She's got it made.

Though he has been estranged from his daughter for the past two years, Patrick Lovato has come forward to talk about Demi Lovato's condition following the announcement that she has been checked into a treatment center.

The father of the Disney starlet is blaming the Hollywood machine for his daughter's breakdown, claiming:

“There are a lot of pressures. That is one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney."

Though not enough to stop her it seems.

Patrick admits that Demi has been around the industry for most of her life, as was her older sister Dallas, because he and their mother were in bands that toured frequently. He admits that the exposure to the road from an early age might have been what attracted her to it, but he wishes she really hadn't gotten involved in the biz.

As for her admission into rehab, Patrick was actually uninformed about Demi's decision to do so, nor was he aware that she was bullied or cutting. He would say that regardless of their estranged relationship, he knows that she'll be "fine" and that she's very "strong."

Here's hoping he's right.

Amidst all the insanity, Charlie Sheen has returned to work on Two and a Half Men, and it looks like things went very smoothly on set.

Here's what a production bigwig had to say about it:

"What's shocking is how normal everything is."

Charlie was greeted when he arrived at Warner Bros with "lots of fist pumps and hugs," and nobody mentioned his breakdown in NYC or the divorce. He began rehearsing, and the day went on as if it were just another day.

Guess it's good to hear that you can stay professional while at work, despite everything Charlie!

We're sure Two and a Half Men fans everywhere will be happy to hear they'll continue getting new episodes at least for now.
