Donald Trump continues to parade himself around the media as if people in this country actually care about his potential candidacy in 2012. I don't think they do. This is a circus and it's fake.

In case you missed it, here's an abbreviated version of The Ed Show from last night.
In an exclusive interview, Capt. Sullenberger goes in depth on the FAA bill amendment, introduced by Rep. Bill Shuster (R-PA), that he says will cost lives. This veteran pilot and accident investigator says:
“This amendment is really a slap in the face of the families of the victims of the Buffalo crash”
He’s talking about the crash that claimed the lives of 50 people in Buffalo, NY. It is believed pilot fatigue played a role in the crash.
Safety regulations, like making sure pilots are properly rested to ensure passenger safety would be severely impacted by this new provision.
It’s not even just a safety issue. It’s also labor issue, and sadly, when Ed asked, “Is this a money issue?”
Capt. Sullenberger said simply: “Of course.”

The awfully sensitive Republican leadership in Florida won't stand by while Democrats speak their filth talk on the floor of the Florida House of Representatives.
Apparently, Rep. Scott Randolph (D-Orlando) was out of line when he used the word "uterus" while debating abortion restrictions.
He was scolded by the GOP and was told he could have offended people in attendance, "particularly the young pages and messengers who are seated in the chamber during debates."
This is bad news for the residents and officials of the following actual Florida towns. Looks like they will never be allowed to be uttered in the tender-eared Florida Congress.

In an exclusive TV interview tonight, Captain Sullenberger, the pilot who famously saved flight 1549 by landing it in the Hudson River, will be speaking out to Ed about the provision in the FAA bill that would impede on aviation and rail workers' rights to band together as unions. The White House has also taken a stand against the amendment and is threatening to use veto power to block passage, if it comes to that.

Rep. Ben Quayle (R-AZ) went down in flames last night as he tried his hand at comedy during the 67th Radio and Television Correspondents’ Association dinner.
At one point he singled out Politico and got some especially loud groans for this one:
"I'm really honored to be here with so many distinguished speakers and members of the media. I gotta tell you, it's a little weird for me to be speaking at an event that's been sponsored by the media. Although I come from a newspaper family, we seem to have a strained relationship with the press. "Strained" is a polite term for "troubled." And "the press" is a generous term for "Politico." You know, it took everything I had not to refer to Politico as the worst media outlet in history."
