Also too. About that wedding bit.

Sorry for the quality. They haven’t been very cooperative when it has been time for their close-ups.
Because of the assortment of weird illnesses that Fenway has been through in the last two years (including the oral eosinophilic granuloma that is once again making a guest appearance in his mouth), he is going to be the subject of a case study. Should be exciting reading if you’re into that sort of thing.
Rave On, John Donne |

John Donne:
No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
Sarah “Makes Up Words Just Like That Shakespeare Fella” Palin on Steve Jobs:
“Steve Jobs was certainly not a singular man. He was not an—he was an island that touched so many people.”—in an interview with Fox News’ Greta van Susteren, Oct. 5, 2011.
Because that is what islands do. They touch other things. Like…. water.
I swear, I bet Sarah thinks Jobs invented Easy Mac. Yum.
(Actually I’m just stalling for time until I find a basset picture)

Grandma Grifter/Snowbilly Snooki/Caribou Barbie/Bible Spice (take yer pick) Sarah Palin is not running for President and now we will never have to hear about her or from her ever again for the rest of our lives. Ha ha. Fat chance. Like herpes the Snowtrash Family Palin will never disappear and they and the ever-expanding brood [...]

Linus: There are three things I have learned never to discuss with people: religion, politics and the Great Pumpkin. Soon-to-be-former candidate for President and recreational pharmaceutical consumer Michele Bachmann was in her home state of Iowa Tuesday night to make an appearance at a Satanic Halloween pumpkin patch and maybe scare up some quick cash [...]
Do You Know Your Enemy? |

It’s always helpful to remember the kind of people we’re dealing with on Wall St.: “We are Wall Street. It’s our job to make money. Whether it’s a commodity, stock, bond, or some hypothetical piece of fake paper, it doesn’t matter. We would trade baseball cards if it were profitable. I didn’t hear America complaining [...]
A Winebox As Big As The Ritz |

I’m back. And none too soon, as it would appear that Rick Perry is about to go down in flames because he failed to focus-group possible names (“Rootin’ Tootin’ Shootin’land”, “Hold Mah Beer World”, or “Annie Get Yer Gun & HPV Shot Right’cher”) for his 3-Mexican daily-limit hunting camp. And by go down in [...]

Oh, The Places I Will Go… |
By: TBogg Tuesday September 27, 2011 11:27 pm |
Blogging will be virtually non-existent starting Wednesday as the L&T Casey and I are heading out on a road trip to San Francisco, coming back Sunday night. The primary reason for the trip is to watch a couple of soccer matches played by her former college team, but we’ll also be taking the opportunity to [...]
Frank Bruni Also Finds Frank Bruni Unreadable |
By: TBogg Monday September 26, 2011 6:47 pm |
Frank Bruni really hates those insidery political books filled with trivialities and meaningless anecdotes instead of good old-fashioned hard reporting on how policy sausage is made: There’s certainly some nutrition in these meals, but a whole lot of empty calories as well: anecdotes as intent on titillation as illumination; scoops of questionable provenance and dubious [...]
