COMMENTS:
7:05 am… The surf has dropped some overnight, but still waves. It’s semi-glassy early, a little lumpy and mushy at the higher tide but again there are still waves.
On the local buoy 40 miles out, the wave height measurement is 5.2 feet at 9 seconds down from yesterdays 6.6 feet at 10 seconds.
The official marine forecast is calling for S winds today
8:15 am… Early morning photos are up in box #1 and you can see there are some occasional fun waves sliding through. it’s semi-glassy to occasionally glassy with fair form. The form seems to be improving as the wind is offshore early this morning…
11 am… The surf did improve as the morning went on. Offshore winds and clean surf. What more could a surfer ask for? New photos are up in box #2 so you can see for yourself…
12:30 pm… The wind keeps waffling around like it wants to go sideonshore. Sideshorish…. then backs around more sideoffshore. It may go onshore soon...
2 pm… The wind still hasn’t gone onshore. Back and forth some, but the surface conditions are still semi-glassy, as of report time…
2:40 pm… Just posted new photos in box #3! Waves still look fun on the inside but get on it quick before the tide drops out to much and the wind turns onshore. The waves are about waist to rib high with a bit bigger wave on some of the sets.
