Inhalers

Hi Lars. I use prescribed Asthma inhalers, have had to for years. A few years ago the propellants used were changed so all of us with the need don't destroy the ozone or some crap like that.
Probably the same reason the over the counter stuff is being screwed with. The propellant now used is piss-poor, and makes it much harder to get deep into the lungs resulting in a much less effective product, a widespread complaint since the change was made. In addition, the only medicine to go generic, Albuterol, changed back to brand only. The cost went from $8 to $12 up to $35 to $40. Do inhalers REALLY hurt the environment to the extent we need this bullshit ? (pardon expression) I am no expert on being a greenie, but I bet I put more stuff in the air with one trip to the store in my car than I would in a lifetime of using inhalers with the old propellant.
