Gov. John Hickenlooper has ordered that flags be lowered to half-staff on all public buildings in Colorado today in observance of the 30th annual National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Fire Administration this weekend are honoring 72 firefighters who died in the line of duty last year, plus 17 firefighters who died in previous years.
