san diego state aztecs football season tickets

After this idea was approved, the Aztecs went on to have their best start to a football season since 1996, just narrowly missing out on being 4-0.

Liking

Ask and ye shall receive. I added these “Like” buttons to the blog, hopefully making it easier to share your love. I haven’t tested one yet, largely due to being too embarrassed to “Like” my own posts. But I think I’m going to try it out in the name of science.

Jobs etc - Sept 12, 2010

jobs democrats stimulus deficit

This cartoon was inspired by an awful AP story that was talking about how the big losers in the midterms were sure to be the liberal wing of the Democratic party, who took the Congressional majority’s eye off of jobs by instead focusing on things like clean energy and healthcare, as if 1) the moderates and Republicans weren’t the ones who diluted the stimulus and slammed the breaks on any and all additional job-creation measures and as if 2) job creation wasn’t a key component of both clean energy and healthcare legislation.

The ability of news reporters to just mindlessly latch on to unsubstantiated narrative scripts would be annoying if it weren’t so depressing.
