ASTROBARRY'S 2012: YEAR-AHEAD FORECAST AND HOROSCOPES
For the first time ever, I have written a book!
This downloadable e-book is my testament to the wacky, transformational D.I.Y. (do-it-yourself) astrology of 2012 and beyond.
ASTROBARRY'S 2012 includes:
-- a personal (but astrologically relevant) introduction
-- a detailed description of the Uranus-Pluto square, a generation-defining astro-event
-- a meditation on 2012 and the 'end' of the Mayan calendar
-- a poetic experience of Neptune's arrival into Pisces
-- an outline of 2012's eclipses; Mars, Venus, & Mercury retrogrades; Jupiter and Saturn's sign-shifts
-- lengthy year-ahead horoscopes for all 12 signs

A Venus-in-Aquarius Holiday
12.17.11
Let Venus in Aquarius serve as your guide for an enjoyably low-stress holiday season.
Rather than feeding into the multidimensional tangles of our histories in individual relationships with the family and friends we share this time of year withand suffering the psychological strain that can go with itwe could just take a couple steps back and appreciate the whole scene from an impersonal 'diversity of human experience' angle.
Venus in Aquarius (from Tue Dec 20) gets her kicks from being in the mix, watching the players each express their unique quirks (whether or not they're aware of their quirkiness), but not allowing any single oddball to get too close for comfort.
Choosing One Over the Other
12.7.11
I believe we always have choices.
There's always another job to work, another place to live, another fine lad or lassie to date and even in the most extremely limiting of circumstances, we can at least choose the story we tell ourselves about what's happened to us and, consequently, create very different lenses of reality through which to understand it.
Sometimes, indeed, the overwhelming existence of so many options becomes an inhibiting factor. How to know which is which, and what is what?
Eclipse Time Again (and Mercury Retrograde Too!)
11.18.11
Faster than we saw it coming, we're now within the frame of eclipse-period land
as we head towards a solar eclipse in Sagittarius next Thursday (Nov 24).
What's that, you say? Next Thursday is Thanksgiving in the States? Well, then, this year's Turkey Day festivities could get a bit livelier or more provocative than usualespecially if the wine is flowing and the tongues get loose.
Sagittarius is the sign who 'tells it like it is', impishly pushing the envelope by speaking its mind with a trademark lack of subtlety.
I Wrote A Book
11.13.11
Without too much fanfare, I sat down and wrote a book.
I almost struggle to read that last sentence and believe it, but it's true. Over the course of the last few weeks, I created an entire book-length forecast for 2012, including year-ahead horoscopes for each sign and a few summarizing articles. It will be available for purchase, via download from this site, on December 1st.
And with those matters-of-fact, I have just made perhaps my biggest life-dream come true and all on the spur of the moment.
Mega Mars-in-Virgo Marathon
11.7.11
Mars enters Virgo on Thursday (Nov 10), to bring a pragmatic grounding influence to our physical energies, inviting us to proceed with more rational consciousness in each action we take.
But what's most noteworthy about this, I should mention, is the fact that Mars will remain in Virgo until July of next year for an extra-long eight-month visit that'll take us through the first half of '12 with the mark of Virgo fastidiousness.
Considering Mars usually moves through a sign in about a month-and-a-half, this lengthy trip through Virgo is pretty big astrological news.
