Norfolk PD Resource Officer Courtney Smith, 390-0355 attended and discussed his role in maintaining the neighborhood. Ofcr Smith conducted walk-through to identify violations of Norfolk City Ordinances. Result - one abandoned vehicle was removed from Wide Street. Seems today as if it is very hard to get away from noise, especially when those around us are inconsiderate. With all the technology available today it's very hard to understand why someone would have to disturb others with what they want to listen. Must be they just want to be inconsiderate. This is why the City has ordinances, or codes that apply to things that need to be corrected in our neighborhoods. One of the controls that the City exercises is on noise. Rules about noise are…
