So word broke Tuesday that Victor Martinez could miss the season with an ACL tear. Here’s Dave Dombrowski, shortly after the announcement:

I’ve received numerous phone calls from agents in the last hour looking to place their players.

Three days. I thought three days was the appropriate waiting period for everything.
