As I noted before, any corporation with a breathing accountant can avoid all or most state corporate income taxes. Its not the fault of corporations. GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain wants to fundamentally alter the U.S. tax system. His proposal is called the '9-9-9 Plan.' It would repeal the current tax code and replace it with a 9% flat tax for individuals, a 9% flat tax for corporations, and a 9% federal retail sales tax.
