Local author Alan Jacobson writes thrillers, including a popular series that follows the exploits of FBI profiler Karen Vail.

Milwaukee-based emcee and poet Melissa Czarnik talks with host Chloe Veltman about the the music of rap.  Friday at 10pm.

Over the weekend, we received the sad news of the passing of Daniel del Solar, who served as KALW's General Manager from 1985 to 1992.
