Ann Goldstein will receive this year’s Audrey Irmas Award for Curatorial Excellence from the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College, the school announced today.
Ms. Goldstein is a 25-year veteran of the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, who left in 2009 to become general artistic director of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. The prize comes with a $25,000 prize, an award designed by the artist Lawrence Weiner and a gala here in the city.
