It’s strange how virtually nobody who worked with Newt will endorse him. Tom DeLay:
“What has been said about Newt is pretty much true. He had to step down because Republicans, conservative Republicans, wouldn’t vote for him again as Speaker.”
At first, I thought this quote was a hoax. But it’s being reported by many MSM outlets:
“When we have 13,000 Americans living on the moon, they can petition to become a state.”
This guy thinks so.
“Romney is a conservative, and he was one of the first national Republican leaders to endorse me. He came to Florida, campaigned hard for me, and made a real difference in my race.”
Here’s what Gingrich had to say about Mitt Romney’s opposition to amnesty:
“He certainly shows no concern for the humanity of people who are already here.”
And:
Gingrich laughed at the idea of self-deportation and said it wouldn’t work.
“Self-deportation”
“We’re not choosing a talk show host. We’re choosing the person who should be leader of the free world.”
I saw this coming when I watched a TV interview she did recently. While she was obviously recovering, she didn’t seem in any shape to run a campaign.
It’s good that she’s taking time to recover. If she does run for office again, we look forward to fighting hard against her big-government, pro-Obamacare, pro-cap-and-tax, pro-porkulus record. I’d rather not do that against someone who can’t fight back just as hard.
