Norbert Pelc, MD, was recently elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE), one of the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer. Dr. Pelc is Professor and Associate Chair for research in the Department of Radiology and Professor of Electrical Engineering (by courtesy) at Stanford University. He is cited by the NAE for development of algorithms and technologies for MRI, CT, and hybrid X-ray/MRI imaging. |
