Missourians for Honest Elections is a non-partisan group that was organized in 2005 to improve the accuracy, transparency and inclusiveness of elections. With those goals in mind, we have been working to educate the public, elected officials and election authorities about best election practices, paying particular attention to the alarming and unacceptable problems associated with the use of direct-record, touch-screen voting machines (DREs). We are currently lobbying the 2012 Missouri Legislature to have these machines removed from the voting process.
