AboutThis is a community for the discussion of current and future research in the science of ecology. Feel free to post links to papers, research thoughts and ideas, or start up discussion about topics that particularly interest you. We're most interested in postings from folk involved in the field (active researchers, grad students, professors, or otherwise) or who are active and interested in the science of ecology.
This is an open community, but please, when you join and/or start posting, begin with a post about yourself, your research interests, and perhaps a paper or somesuch that you would be interested in people checking out and discussing.
Note: while many ecologists are concerned about the environment, this is not a community for the posting of environmental discussions unless they relate to the science at hand. Ecology is not environmentalism, although the former often informs the latter. Please be aware of this.
