Calling for Ethics Reform
We're very pleased to announce that AFJ's original short documentary, A Question of Integrity: Politics, Ethics, and the Supreme Court, has been honored in the 2012 Telly Awards.
A Question of Integrity received a bronze award in the category of Non-Broadcast Productions: Charitable/Not-for-profit. The Telly Awards honor excellence in non-broadcast and online video, as well as local, regional, and cable TV commercials. Bronze and silver awards are given in each category.
Alliance for Justice, along with other reform organizations, members of Congress, law professors, and over 100,000 Americans, have called on the Supreme Court justices to adopt the same ethical Code of Conduct that binds every other federal judge.
Over the next year, the Court will hear and decide on some of the most controversial and contentious cases in its history. It's vital that the American public can trust that the justices are putting the law and the Constitution ahead of personal interests and political agendas.
