Beer is king at east side's Shores Inn

Going to a bar usually isn't viewed as a challenge, but at the Shores Inn in St. Clair Shores, every visit is an opportunity to test yourself and your commitment to beer. Sixteen years ago, the east-side bar introduced the Hall of Foam, a contest that dares guests to drink one of each of the 150 beers it carries.

Red Party at Reunion in Pontiac will raise funds for Ferndale Pride

Pontiac's Reunion Nightclub will be playing host Saturday to the Red Party 2012, an event that will help raise money for this year's Ferndale Pride celebration. "The Red Party in Pontiac is offering to help us raise some funds and increase awareness about our events," says Craig Covey, a Ferndale Pride organizer and former mayor of Ferndale.
