The 1970 Ford Torino featured a new body style which was lower, wider, and longer with the introduction of the 351 Cleveland engines in the Torino as well as the new 429 Thunder Jet, Cobra Jet, and Super Cobra Jet engine options. It included a functional ram air scoop and made available that big hands on Hurst four speed manual transmission. It also sported rear window louvers, a ribbon style tachometer, three spoke steering wheel, high back bucket seats, fifteen inch magnum 500 chrome wheels and those flip style vacuum operated hideaway headlights.
