This major website redesign for the law firm Beck & Lee was completed in July, 2011. Art101 also designed the firm's new logomark. Featuring clean navigation and a "flashless" slide-show banner graphic, the design is complimented by a dramatic background that stays put regardless of browser window size. Based in Miami Florida with a nationwide clientele, the firm specializes in lawsuits on behalf of severely injured individuals, investors, consumers, and businesses. © 2011 Beck & Lee, P.A. A quiet and spacious website design for songwriter and composer Chuck Wild, completed in August 2010 to showcase over three decades of his work. Chuck's career includes writing 125 songs and compositions used in TV, film and albums, releasing ten best-selling relaxation music albums under the name Liquid Mind®, and playing synthesizers in the ground-breaking 80s pop group, Missing Persons. The understated color palette and design grid rests on surprisingly complex HTML tables and CSS to keep things consistent on any browser or platform. © 2011 Chuck Wild. |
This extensive website project, completed in July 2010, showcases the beautiful handcrafted guitars of Larry Mills, Luthier. The tight design grid employs HTML tables. Each page is sliced into a table that's 5 columns wide by 4 rows tall. Empty "spacer" cells keep the grid nice and tidy. This took a lot of planning, but the resulting template proved quite versatile. The project took about three weeks to complete, employing a total of over 370 HTML and image files. Website and logotype design for the award-winning short film, The Silence of Bees. Visit the site to watch a trailer, meet the cast and crew, and much more. "The best movies are always about character development and providing insight into human nature; The Silence of Bees excels at both. This visually attractive, carefully crafted film explores the awkwardness that many of us feel when we try to express affection for loved ones. This audience-pleasing film stands out and deserves wide distribution." Thomas Baker, Ph.D., Coordinator, © 2011 Pete Galaxie Productions and Into the Fire Productions, LLC. |
Dell Richards Publicity is a full-service public relations firm working with a wide range of clients to create successful PR campaigns for television, radio, Internet, magazines and newspapers. Art101 designed the firm's logomark and website. We worked closely with the firm to develop simple, clean navigation on a table-driven grid for a site which loads quickly and constantly across multiple platforms and browsers. This is a fundamental aesthetic we bring to every web design project. Updates include links to social media websites and campaign samples. © 2008 - 2011 Dell Richards Publicity. |
AgAd was founded in 1978 to provide the highest quality measuring and calibration containers in the world. Clients include Fortune 500 companies, large-scale co-ops and local farm operators, university agricultural programs, and world leaders in agricultural R&D. Art101 performed a major facelift of an existing design, built around the firm's logomark and print catalog. The clean, corporate look rests on a surprisingly complex underlying table grid. Product photography by Izzy Schwartz drove many design and navigation choices. © 2011 AgAd, Inc. |
Liquid Mind is the pen name used by Los Angeles composer and producer Chuck Wild for his series of sedative relaxation music albums. His work finds favor with reviewers and fans for its beautiful and therapeutic qualities. Art101 designed the original site and has maintained it since the 1998 launch. As with all Art101 projects, the goal is to serve the core purpose while respecting visitors time and bandwidth. Chuck's music deserves a clean, spacious look with just enough "eye candy" to keep things interesting. The site includes some Mini-Videos you may also enjoy. © 1998 - 2011 Chuck Wild. |
Digital illustration is an important facet of Art101 projects. This includes vector and raster art, plus hybrids of both forms. All Art101 illustrations are designed for the high resolution world of print output. This ensures that they're crisp, clean and color correct in print. Other iterations can then be built for the unique requirements of web, film, and video graphics. Please see more samples .The illustration at left is the Facebook "cover" image for . We also designed Dell's logo, logotype and website. |

Help save FreeHand: The best vector drawing program on Planet Earth If I had a Hammer Imagine buying a hammer from a trusted hardware store. This hammer is well-balanced, beautifully crafted, and comfortable. It's superior to any hammer you ever bought. You use it every day and it quickly becomes your favorite tool. Suddenly one morning, it no longer drives a nail. You try and try again, but the hammer no longer works. A little sticker magically appears on the handle. It reads: "We're sorry. The company which created your hammer was purchased by another company in a corporate buyout over which you have no control. To continue using your hammer, you must purchase Hammer 2.0. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please give us more money to continue using your hammer. Thank you."
